During Refugee Week, each class read a different story and reflected on what it means to be a refugee. Year 4 read 'The Journey', which tells the story of a family fleeing war in their country. They created beautiful images of birds and then animated them, recording their voices reading out poetry they authored over the top of them.
These projects were taken along to our Refugee Week exhibition to be shared with members of the community, and were projected onto the ceiling, giving viewers time to consider the artwork and the fate of refugees. See below for the projects.
