Ayomide Akangbe: She obtained her bachelor's degree in Biochemistry from the Department of Biochemistry, University of Lagos, Nigeria. Ayomide is currently working on improving the selectivity of artificial antibodies for human serum albumin and bovine serum albumin. Her hobbies are cooking and travelling.
Chibuzor Kenneth Uwazie, a master's student in Chemistry at Western Kentucky University, working under Dr. Snehasis Bhakta. His research focuses on using molecularly imprinted polymers for the selective detection and separation of antibiotics from water.
Undergraduate Students
Keaton Garrison. Keaton is a junior at the Gatton Academy of Mathematics and Science. He plans to major in Biochemistry and is currently working on unraveling the selectivity of artificial antibodies. He plans to attend graduate or medical school in the future.
Maggie Sun. Maggie is a junior at the Gatton Academy, having previously attended South Warren High School. She is working on Green Synthesis of Silica Nanoparticles. Maggie has a strong interest in biology and chemistry, and she plans to pursue a premed track in college with the goal of becoming a surgeon.
