The Southern Nevada Bureau of Land Management hosts on call/as needed Administratively Determined (AD) firefighters to staff the Southern Nevada Hand Crew.
Assignments are determined by the current fire activity and crew boss availability. This is not a full-time position, and applicants are only brought on for incident support.
Defensive Driver Training Instructions will be provided to you upon completion of Rookie School.
A friendly reminder to start submitting your availability on the AD Website EVERY Sunday starting May 17th 2026.
