SnapVault Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 6, 2026

SnapVault ("the app") is a screenshot organizer for Android published by the SnapVault developer ("we", "us"). This policy explains what data the app handles and how.

The short version

SnapVault is a fully on-device app. We do not collect, store, transmit, sell, or share any of your data. We do not operate any servers. Your screenshots, tags, notes, and extracted text never leave your device unless you export or back them up somewhere yourself.

Data the app processes — on your device only

Optional folder backup (Pro)

If you enable folder backup, SnapVault copies your organized screenshots into a folder you choose using Android's Storage Access Framework. If you pick a folder that is synced by a third-party service (for example Google Drive, Dropbox, or OneDrive), that service's own privacy policy governs what happens to files placed there. SnapVault itself never uploads anything.

Purchases

SnapVault Pro is a one-time purchase processed entirely by Google Play Billing. We do not receive or store your payment details. Google's handling of your payment data is described in Google's privacy policy.

Permissions the app requests

Data collection, analytics, and ads

Data retention and deletion

All data lives on your device. Deleting a screenshot in SnapVault moves it to the in-app recycle bin, which you can purge at any time. Uninstalling the app permanently deletes the app's private vault, database, and settings. Files you backed up to a folder of your choice remain in that folder under your control.

Children

SnapVault is not directed at children under 13 and does not collect personal information from anyone.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the text and the effective date here.
