By using SnapVault, you agree to these Terms of Use.
1. License Grant
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use SnapVault on your personal devices for personal
record management purposes.
2. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the app only for its intended purpose of recognizing text from images, managing receipts, vouchers,
warranty cards, tickets, labels, and personal records, setting reminders, and exporting your saved information.
You agree not to:
- Use the app to scan, store, or manage documents belonging to others without authorization
- Use extracted information for fraudulent, illegal, or unauthorized purposes
- Attempt to access system resources beyond what is provided by standard iOS APIs
- Reverse engineer, modify, or misuse the app
3. On-Device Recognition and No Third-Party AI Processing
SnapVault uses Apple native technologies, including the Vision framework, to perform text recognition on device.
The current version of SnapVault does not use third-party AI services and does not send your photos, OCR text, extracted
fields, receipts, invoices, warranty cards, coupons, tickets, or other user content to third-party AI providers.
4. Accuracy of Information
OCR text recognition results depend on image quality, font type, lighting conditions, language, layout, and other factors.
Extracted text, identified dates, document types, amounts, and other fields may be incomplete or inaccurate.
You are responsible for reviewing and confirming all extracted information before relying on it.
5. User-Controlled Actions
SnapVault does not modify your photo library, system settings, reminders, calendar, files, or exported documents except for
actions you explicitly initiate or approve.
Any decisions you make based on extracted data, such as acting on an expiry date, deleting a source photo, exporting
records, or discarding a receipt, are your own responsibility.
6. In-App Purchases and Subscriptions
The current version of SnapVault does not offer paid subscriptions or in-app purchases.
If paid features are introduced in a future version, subscription terms, pricing, renewal rules, cancellation options, and
required links will be clearly displayed in the app before purchase.
7. Intellectual Property
All app content, design, code, trademarks, and related materials are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by
applicable laws. These Terms do not grant you ownership of the app or its intellectual property.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
SnapVault is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee that OCR recognition, document classification,
extracted fields, expiry reminders, exports, or other app features will always be accurate, complete, uninterrupted, or
error-free.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss, missed deadlines, missed reminders, deleted source
images, inaccurate extracted information, incorrect document classification, data loss, or damages arising from your use of
or reliance on SnapVault.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted with a new “Last updated” date. Continued
use of the app after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
