This Privacy Policy explains how SnapVault collects, uses, and protects your information.
1. Information We Collect
SnapVault may process the following information on your device:
- Photos or images that you choose to import for text recognition
- Text recognized from those images
- Fields you choose to save, such as merchant name, amount, date, warranty date, expiry date, notes, tags, and reminder
information
- App settings, such as reminder preferences and Face ID Lock status
- Basic diagnostic and analytics information, such as app version, iOS version, device model, feature usage status, import/
export result, and error type
SnapVault does not collect or upload your photos, OCR text, extracted receipt fields, order numbers, serial numbers,
addresses, phone numbers, emails, or URLs to our servers for AI processing.
2. On-Device Text Recognition
SnapVault uses Apple’s native Vision framework to perform text recognition on device.
Imported photos are processed locally on your device. The recognized text and saved records are stored locally on your
device unless you choose to export or share them using system sharing features.
3. Third-Party AI Services
The current version of SnapVault does not use third-party AI services.
SnapVault does not send user photos, OCR text, extracted fields, receipts, invoices, warranty cards, coupons, tickets, or
other user content to OpenAI, Gemini, Claude, or any other third-party AI provider.
If a future version adds optional AI features, SnapVault will clearly explain what data would be sent, identify the service
provider, and ask for your permission before any personal data is shared with that service.
4. How We Use Your Information
We use information processed in the app to:
- Recognize text from images you import
- Organize receipts, vouchers, warranty cards, tickets, and personal records
- Create searchable local records
- Schedule local reminders based on dates you save
- Generate local PDF or CSV exports
- Respond to support requests
We do not use your photos, OCR text, or saved records to train AI models.
5. Data Storage and Retention
Your saved records are stored locally on your device.
You can delete saved records and OCR text within the app. If you export a PDF or CSV file or share data through the iOS
system share sheet, that action is controlled by you.
6. Analytics and Diagnostics
SnapVault may use analytics or diagnostic services to understand app performance and reliability.
Analytics events may include non-content information such as app version, OS version, device model, feature usage status,
permission status, import/export result, export format, and error type.
Analytics events do not include user photos, OCR text, extracted receipt fields, order numbers, serial numbers, addresses,
phone numbers, emails, URLs, or saved document content.
7. Third-Party Services
SnapVault may use the following services for analytics, diagnostics, or attribution:
- Firebase Analytics
- AppsFlyer
These services are used only for non-content analytics and diagnostics. They do not receive user photos, OCR text, or saved
document content from SnapVault.
8. Children's Privacy
SnapVault is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
9. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You can delete local

10. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. However, no method of storage or
transmission is completely secure.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted with a new “Last updated” date.
