File Access and Transfer: SnapSend is designed for local peer-to-peer (P2P) file sharing. The App requires access to your device's storage specifically to select files for sending and to save files received from other devices. All file transfers occur locally over your WiFi network or direct device-to-device connections. Your files, photos, and documents are never uploaded to our servers or any third-party cloud services.
3. Permissions To provide its core functionality, the App requests the following permissions:
Storage / Files and Media Access: Required to read files you choose to send and to save the files you receive to your device.
Location / Local Network Access: Required to discover other devices on the same local network or to establish a direct WiFi connection (WiFi Direct) for transferring files. Note: We do not track your physical GPS location.
Camera: Required only to scan QR codes for quick device pairing and connection.
