SnapNote Pro ("we", "our", "extension") is committed to protecting your privacy. This privacy policy explains how we handle data in our Chrome extension.

We DO NOT collect, transmit, or store any personal data on external servers. All data remains on your local device.

3. LOCAL STORAGE

The extension stores the following data locally on your device using Chrome's storage API:

- Screenshots you capture (stored as images)

- Annotations you create

- Folder organization preferences

- Pro license key (if you upgrade)

4. DATA USAGE

All stored data is used solely to provide the core functionality of the extension (screenshot capture, annotation, and organization). We do not access, analyze, or use this data for any other purpose.

5. DATA SHARING

We do NOT:

- Sell your data to third parties

- Share your data with third parties

- Upload your screenshots to external servers

- Track your browsing activity

- Collect personal information

6. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

Payment processing is handled by Stripe (for Pro upgrades). When you purchase a Pro license, Stripe's privacy policy applies to that transaction. We only receive the license key to activate your Pro features.

7. DATA SECURITY

All data is stored locally on your device and protected by Chrome's built-in security features. You can delete all extension data at any time through the extension settings.

8. USER RIGHTS

You have complete control over your data:

- View all stored screenshots in the Library

- Delete individual screenshots

- Clear all data through Settings

- Uninstall the extension to remove all data

9. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

Our extension does not knowingly collect data from children under 13. The extension is suitable for all ages.

10. CHANGES TO POLICY

We may update this privacy policy. The "Last Updated" date will reflect any changes. Continued use after changes indicates acceptance.
