Snapetite provides nutrition tracking, calorie counting, and artificial intelligence meal analysis. To deliver these features, we access and collect the following information:
Camera and Images: The App requires access to your device’s camera to capture meal photos for AI analysis and scan food barcodes. Images are processed strictly to return nutrition data, calorie estimates, and macro breakdowns.
Nutrition & Health Inputs: Data you manually enter into the App, including weight logs, daily calorie targets, meal entries, and custom foods.
Account Information: Email address and basic profile credentials used to maintain your account and sync your nutrition data.
Technical & Usage Data: Basic, non-identifying telemetry (such as crash logs and app performance data) to fix bugs and improve usability. We do not access contact lists, location data, or background device history.
Any data processed by Snapetite is used strictly to:
Generate AI-powered meal analysis and log nutrition entries.
Track daily caloric intake, macro breakdowns, and historical progress.
Maintain user account security and app preferences.
We do not sell, rent, trade, or monetize your personal information or uploaded meal photos.
The App utilizes secure cloud infrastructure and third-party AI APIs (such as image recognition models) to perform complex food image analysis. Images uploaded for AI analysis are processed securely and are not retained by third-party service providers beyond the immediate processing window required to analyze your meal.
We retain your personal data, meal logs, photo entries, and account preferences only for as long as your account remains active or as necessary to provide you with app services.
If you request account deletion or if your account remains inactive for an extended period, all associated personal records, saved photos, and nutrition history are permanently purged from active databases within 30 days.
You retain full ownership and control over your personal data. You can request the complete deletion of your account, saved meal photos, and all associated personal data at any time by following these steps:
Email Deletion Request: Send an email to [waqas8thakur@gmail.com] with the subject line Data Deletion Request. Please send the request from the email address linked to your Snapetite account.
Processing Time: Upon receiving a valid request, all personal data, saved meal photos, and nutrition logs will be permanently deleted from our servers within 7 business days.
Snapetite does not knowingly collect personal data from children under the age of 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so it can be immediately deleted.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect new features or changes in functionality. Any updates will be posted directly to this official policy page.
