"Snap" is a song by Armenian singer Rosa Linn, released on 19 March 2022.[2] It was written and composed by Linn, with Larzz Principato, Allie Crystal, Kinetics, Courtney Harrell, and Tamar Kaprelian.[3] The song represented Armenia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2022,[4] where it finished in 20th place with 61 points.

Following the contest, the song went viral on video sharing service TikTok.[5] "Snap" reached the top of the charts in Belgium, and the top ten in Austria, France, Germany, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Sweden and Switzerland. The song also reached the charts in 23 other music markets, including peaking at number 21 on the UK Singles Chart, making Rosa Linn the highest-charting foreign act from Eurovision 2022 in the UK.[6] It also debuted on the US Billboard Hot 100 at number 97 and later peaked at number 67,[7] becoming the second Eurovision song of the 21st century to enter the chart.[8][9] The song was later included in Rosa Linn's debut extended play Lay Your Hands Upon My Heart (2023).[10]

A few months after Eurovision, "Snap" went viral on video sharing service TikTok, leading to an increase of streams on Spotify and topping the daily viral charts in various countries. "Snap" started entering numerous countries' national charts, surpassing the Ukrainian winning song, "Stefania" by Kalush Orchestra, for the most chart entries by a Eurovision song from 2022.[3]

Natalie: I love to hear a song that just does everything right. The instrumentation, the vocals, the lyrics, and most of all: the emotions. The chorus is energetic, anthemic and miraculous in how it manages to carry the deep emotional weight of the song so well. Rosa Linn is an amazing performer. It makes me so happy to see Armenia do something low-key and beautiful like this. I really hope to see this shine in Turin.

This song may be nothing spectacular or groundbreaking, but it has slowly worked its way all the way up to my Top 5. Her live performances are what sold it for me, she has a great voice and relaxed and charming presence. In Madrid, she had the guts to just play acoustic guitar and sing on her own, and ended up sounding better than most other participants.

That is actually a really high placing for this entry. I think Armenia would be very happy if it were to achieve that. It is possible if listeners attach to this moreso than the songs that are similar to it.
