Privacy Policy

Snake Rewind is a single-player arcade game. This policy explains what data is involved when you play, where it comes from, and who handles it.

The short version: Snake Rewind has no servers of its own. Every piece of data below is collected and stored by Google — through Google Play Games Services (sign-in, leaderboards, cloud save) and Google AdMob (rewarded ads) — not by the developer directly.

01. Information We Collect

The app itself asks for nothing beyond what's needed to run: it requests no access to your camera, microphone, contacts, photos, or location, and collects no name, email address, or phone number of its own.

Two categories of data are involved, both handled through Google's own services:

Settings (music/SFX volume, control preferences, theme) and short-term run state are stored only in local app storage on your device and are never transmitted anywhere.

02. Third-Party Services

Snake Rewind is built on two Google SDKs, each governed by Google's own privacy terms:

• Google Play Games Services — handles sign-in, leaderboards, achievements, and cross-device cloud save.

• Google AdMob — serves the optional rewarded video ads (never interstitial or banner ads; ads only ever show when you choose to tap "Watch Ad").

Both operate under Google's Privacy Policy. AdMob's specific data practices are documented at Google's AdMob data disclosure.

03. Data Sharing

The developer does not sell, rent, or share your data with anyone. Because the app has no backend server, there's no developer-operated database where this data could be shared from — it lives entirely within Google's infrastructure, accessed through the SDKs above.

04. Your Choices & Data Deletion

• Sign out or don't sign in — Play Games sign-in is optional. Playing without it means no account data or cloud save is ever created.

• Delete cloud save data — open the Google Play Games app, go to Profile → Settings → Delete Play Games account & data, or manage it directly from your Google Account data controls.

• Reset or opt out of ad personalization — on your device, go to Settings → Google → Ads to reset your advertising ID or opt out of personalized ads.

• Local data — uninstalling the app removes all locally stored settings and save data from your device.

05. Children's Privacy

Snake Rewind is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. The developer does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, contact us using the details below and it will be removed.

06. Security

All account and save data is handled by Google's Play Games Services infrastructure, which applies Google's own industry-standard security practices. The developer has no independent servers or databases storing this information.

07. Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes, the "Effective" date at the top of this page will be updated. Continued use of the app after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
