Welcome to the Snake Creek Volunteer Fire Company website. Here is where you can find all of our planned events, learn who our board members and line officers are and apply to join us. You can also learn a little history about us.
Snake Creek Volunteer Fire Company was established in 1954, our last founding member Richard "Dick" Robinson unfortunately passed away in March of 2024. Dick served 70 years as a member of Snake Creek Volunteer Fire Company and 30 of those yeas as Fire Chief. Snake Creek Volunteer Fire Company serves and protects both Liberty Township and Franklin Township. We have two (2) stations within Liberty Township, one in Brookdale and the other in Lawsville Center. Our original base station in Brookdale used to be a one room schoolhouse back in the day, our dining hall near our Brookdale station use to be an old church. Due to flooding in 2018 our Brookdale station sustained flood damage. Between the flood damage and growth of the company we had to build a new station in Brookdale, the new station was built in 2019. Snake Creek Volunteer Fire Company Brookdale Station holds three (3) pieces of apparatus, Engine 4, Brush 8, and UTV. Snake Creek Volunteer Fire Company Lawsville Station holds two (2) pieces of apparatus, Engine 3, and Tanker 2.
Here is our current apparatus.
