This Privacy Policy explains how Snakebyte Games ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, stores, and deletes user data in compliance with Meta platform requirements. This policy applies to all games produced, distributed, or managed by Snakebyte Games

1. Understanding

• Hardware ID: A unique identifier generated by a device or a system. This identifier is used strictly for security.

• Game Account: Your personal in-game account is associated with your Meta account when playing our games.

2. Data and Information We Collect.

To provide core gameplay, multiplayer functionality, and related services, Snakebyte Games collects and processes the following user data through Meta Platform Features and trusted third-party services:

• Meta User ID (USER_ID): Used for account creation, multiplayer, and security.

• Meta User Profile Information (USER_PROFILE): Includes username, display name, avatars, and other in game profile data. Used to save player progress, cosmetics, stats, and virtual currency

• In-App Purchase Data (IAP): Includes virtual currency and purchased items. Used to deliver purchased content and maintain accurate player inventories

• IP Address: Collected automatically for security, moderation, and service functionality

• Hardware Identifiers: Used when necessary for moderation, security, and enforcement of bans.

We do not collect passwords, payment, or billing information, real-world addresses, or personal email content. All sensitive authentication and payment handling is managed directly by Meta.

Players can request permanent deletion of all collected data at any time (see Section 6 for details).

3. How We Use Your Data

We use collected data solely for legitimate gameplay and operational purposes including:
- Account Creation

• Multiplayer functionality

• Saving player progress, cosmetics, virtual currency, etc.

• Moderation, rule enforcement, and abuse prevention

• Providing virtual items and currency

We do not sell, rent, or use player data for advertising or malicious purposes.

4. Third-Party Services

Our games rely on trusted third-party services to function correctly. These services may independently collect and process data according to their own privacy policies.

Service availability and outages are outside of our control. When possible, players are notified mainly in our discord server if a service is unavailable.

Player data is stored securely using industry-standard protections provided by Meta, PlayFab, and Photon. Access to player data is limited to authorized developers for operational and moderation purposes only.

6. Data Retention and Deletion 

We retain user data only for as long as it is necessary to operate our services or comply with platform requirements.

Requesting Data Deletion

You may request permanent deletion of your game account data at any point in time. This includes:

• In-game profile data and progress

• Virtual currency and purchased items

• Any other data collected for security, moderation, or gameplay purposes

Include your PlayFab ID and/or Meta account ID to identify your account.

What Happens after Deletion:
-  All associated game account data will be permanently erased.

• Deleted data cannot be recovered.

Some data may remain temporarily stored by Meta or third-party services as required by their policies.

We will confirm via email once your data has been fully deleted.
