We are thrilled to celebrate that 24 of these incredible survivors have triumphed over their past and found permanent, loving homes. This page is dedicated to honoring and celebrating the resilient spirit of these snakes and their successful adoptions, thanks to the families who stepped forward to welcome them and provide safe, loving homes. Every adoption frees up vital resources, allowing us to focus on the remaining rescues who are still healing and learning to trust. We hope their journeys inspire you to open your heart and home to one of these dear animals. By choosing adoption, you can become the next chapter in a rehabilitated snake’s happily ever after. Read below about the wonderful adoptees who have found fantastic homes so far.
Brandy found a home with a loving family who has a few other snakes. She loves to climb and explore, eats ravenously, and is very friendly. She has settled in nicely and enjoys spending time with her new people!
Charlotte was one of the very first snakes to be adopted. Fortunately for her, she was fairly new to the environment and was not emaciated, just a bit dehydrated upon arrival. She recovered quickly and is keeping her new family entertained with her antics and charming Hognose personality.
Cupid was also adopted very early on in Spring 2025. He has adjusted very well to his new home, but was quite shy at first. Now he will come out for enrichment time with his new family. He is not an only snake, but is very well loved where he is now.
Ella was adopted in the early summer of 2025 as she recouperated well with just a few months of steady feeding and hydration. Ella maintained her sweet disposition throughout her ordeal, and her new owner believes that Ella is the absolute most perfect snake there ever was. She is well adored!
Enoki was extremely underweight when he arrived, but otherwise his health was stable. A very experienced keeper adopted him and he has steadily gained weight and confidence. He was quite shy at first but over time has opened up and is doing very well. His new owner loves and spoils him.
Esther was adopted in the summer. While she never reached a full normal mature size because she was not properly fed as she was growing, she did put on an appropriate amount of weight for her petite frame. She may continue to add a little in length, but won't ever grow to full size. However, she is healthy, has a great personality and loves to come out to be handled and climb in her enclosure. She is thriving with her new family.
Godiva found a family with one of the other adopters and has continued to put on some weight and growth since she was rescued. As a yearling, she still was in her sub-adult phase so we hope her future growth and development will be normal. She loves to explore and comes out on her own, but has opinions when it is time to be escorted back to her enclosure. She is beautiful and happy now.
Guinan came to live with Trasi, one of the rescue and adoption team. She has a big personality, very unlike a Royal python, but is given free rein to be who she is. She spends almost every day up high in her sky hide, but at night she covers every inch of her enclosure, climbing, stretching, sniffing, checking out each of her other 3 hides, getting a drink and when offered the chance, will come out to explore. She is FAST though, so she requires an escort for safety as her room is not completely set up for free roaming at this time. She is on the smaller side but is healthy and never misses a meal.
Julius Dax is a shy boy, but he really enjoys his net. Over time he has adjusted to family life and will come out to slither and explore on occasion. It did take a little bit before he felt comfortable but patience and love and food security won him over! He's adored and happy in his new home.
Jupiter found a home with a snake enthusiast young woman in Colorado. While small, Jupiter has recovered well and gained appropriate weight. His wobble is very very minimal and he also is always happy to eat. His new owner reports that he seems happy and thriving in his new enclosure and is doing wonderfully.
Kasida also found her home with an experienced keeper who knew just how to slowly and steadily build trust with her. She was thin and extremely shy and averse to people initially, but her new keeper is patient and skilled with playing the long game. Kasida has started coming out on her own to explore and allows gentle redirection and handling. She eats well, is very active, has no neurological symptoms (she is a Jaguar morph) and has filled out beautifully.
Initially we were a little concerned that Kassa would remain very shy and reluctant to engage with his surroundings, but slowly over time he has opened up. He was adopted by a loving family that absolutely adores him, and he has responded brilliantly to being in their care and home. He gets to explore the outside, with different smells and textures, and will also gladly sit and watch TV with one of his new family members. He is a happy boy!
Larrin was adopted directly by Lori, and she joined the rest of the Behavior Education LLC family of snakes. She targets like an absolute pro, and recovered very well through her rehabilitation. She's gained good weight and is also quite active in her enclosure.
Ledger found his way out west to a wonderful home with solid Royal python experience. He lives in a well-equipped large enclosure, and loves to climb and explore. He is given the opportunity to come out for enrichment time often, and though a little bit shy, he is a sweet fellow and has acclimated very well to his new home. He has filled back out well too.
Lucy, a beautiful Corn snake, was one of the lucky few to be in better shape than most of the other rescues in this group upon arrival. A few months of rehydration and solid meals helped her gain the little she needed to, and she was adopted by a family in the summer of 2025. They report that she has done well in their care and never misses a meal.
Marceline went to her new family late summer/early fall of 2025, and they were thrilled to have her. She is outgoing, loves coming out to explore, uses every inch of her enclosure, and we regularly hear positive updates. She is a character, and has transitioned seamlessly to their home.
Little Miesque found her home in Colorado so she didn't have to travel too far. She remains petite, but eats voraciously and has put on weight. She hasn't been too fond of coming out to explore outside, and is a bit on the shy side, but her new family gives her lots of space and patience. Soon she will move into her full adult enclosure, but the giant tub she is in has given her the high humidity and the privacy of translucent walls to help her adjust well to life with lots of enrichment and space to climb and engage with her environment. She may always be on the smaller side, but is doing extremely well considering her condition upon arrival.
Molly was one of the first to be adopted. Her body condition was on the thin side, but she didn't have many other ailments and recovered quickly with proper nutrition and hydration. She lives in a home with a doctor who dotes on her. Her favorite place to be is up high in her sky hide, but when she does come down for a visit, she and her family like to watch horror flicks together. She is a mellow girl and is content and happy in her new home.
Pax was one of the snakes in the worst shape when she arrived. She had a horrible case of intestinal parasites and for months, despite ravenous eating, could not gain weight. She required multiple treatments of antiparasitic medication to finally get this under control, so her family had to wait quite a while before she was gaining weight and muscle and deemed healthy enough for adoption. But they were patient, and now have their beautiful girl. She is curious about everything, nosy and absolutely smashes every meal. Her new family loves her beyond words and they are giving her the life of comfort she deserves.
Rygel is a special needs snake. He arrived with significant issues with his eyes and immediately was seen by a veterinary ophthalmologist. It isn't clear how well Rygel can see, nor is it clear whether the issue is congenital or trauma/neglect related, but he does not appear to be in pain. For someone to adopt Rygel, we needed to find just the right family who had experience with special needs animals, and would be willing to have him seen regularly by a veterinary ophthalmologist to monitor his eyes. We found just the perfect family for him. He's already gotten much more outgoing and brave in his new home, and really enjoys being able to come outside and experience grass, breezes, and all the smells of the outdoors.
Scribbles is a Sunbeam snake. He is highly specialized for a fossorial life hidden under deep substrate, and his scales have a beautiful shimmer from structures called iridophores. His new family has given him the perfect environment, and though he doesn't spend much time at the surface, he will instantly burrow upward for dinnertime! He is about to move into a bigger palace with even more digging opportunities. His name reflects the scribbly tunnels he has dug throughout his home. He is now fully healthy and content!
Severus was a favorite among the rescues for his outgoing personality and engaging antics, climbing all over his enclosure. He was adopted locally in Colorado, and was able to take his grow tent home with him, which greatly helped with acclimating to his new home. The grow tents are excellent at maintaining humidity, so this helps in dry Colorado. His family has one other snake so this is not their first experience with a Royal. He's doing very well and has maintained his sweet and curious temperament.
Tam is another favorite of the sanctuary. She is a great snake, loves to explore new things, and enjoys using everything in her enclosure. She was adopted by a family with a few other snakes, and now that we've come to see the benefits of grow tents, all of the snakes in this family have gotten enclosure upgrades to large tents! Tam's is outfitted with a climbing wall and foliage, and she loves and uses her humid hide of moss. Her family is very happy to have her and she is doing extremely well with them.
Valentine is an absolutely spoiled little girl who has totally blossomed in her new home. Her palace is pink and heart themed, and she uses it all. Her mom lets her come out often to surf around and climb everything in the enrichment area. Her wobble symptoms (she is a Spider morph) are very minimal, as her environment is low stress and all curious and fun. Her health has been good after rehabilitation, and she is also an excellent eater who targets very well for her food. She has been thriving.
