Hi, I'm Kali, a very outgoing, calm, and curious 6 year old female. I enjoy choice-based interactions and will even come out for supervised free roaming. I'm a Spider morph with some very minor wobble, so please don't handle me excessively or stress me too much. I have a good appetite and target training helps me focus at mealtime, which reduces wobble episodes when I get excited about eating. If my new keepers will work with my special needs and give me choices, I'll be a wonderful addition to the family.
Hi, I'm Aslan and at 9 years, I'm an easy-going fellow with a great appetite. Before this, my life was confined to a rack. These days there is so much to experience that it's sometimes a little overwhelming, but I am serene, not defensive, and ready for a family of my own. If you'd like a snake who is calm and curious but a bit of a homebody (I don't have much interest in free roaming), then I'm your guy.
Greetings, I'm Mars, an 8 year old with beautiful markings and a cute nose that fits my Roman god name. The vet tells me my nose is just fine, and that I'm a healthy guy. I love to explore and climb, and will be a great companion to my new family who hopefully will let me free roam now and then (I really enjoy that!) I love my hanging hammock and you'll see me use it every day so be sure to include a net in my habitat!
Hi, I’m Tam, and I'm a 6 year old female who loves to climb and relax in my humid hide. I'm very outgoing, love to explore, and will make a fantastic pet for someone! I would love a family of my own who'll give me a big enclosure to explore and let me have time outside of my habitat to experience the world after spending my life in a rack. If you are looking for a wonderful friend rather than an animal that looks a specific way, I am one of the best animals in the group!
Hi, I’m Teyla, and I am a 6 year old female. My favorite things are eating and lounging in my favorite sky hide just watching the world go by. Until now I've never been given any real chance to interact with people, so be kind and patient with me - but I'm not defensive, I'm becoming more curious and outgoing every day, and I am absolutely ready for a family of my own.
Hi, I’m Satine, a 4 year old female. I'm a bit shy as I've never had a chance to learn how to interact with people. But I'm not super fearful or defensive. So far I do well with target training, which will give my new family good opportunities for positive interactions and help me with socialization.
I'm Kassa, a handsome 5 year old male who was very scared when I first arrived. I'm getting braver as my confidence grows, but while I am not defensive, I am still pretty fearful. You'll need to be patient, take things slow, and let me get accustomed to you on my own terms. I like to watch what's going on outside of my habitat, so you can use those times as well as target training to help me develop trust. I will blossom with a new family that is patient and kind. I love to eat and am doing well with target training that helps me manage my enthusiastic feeding response.
Hi, I’m Chiana, a 5 year old female as lovely as my name. i have the gene for wobble, but my wobble episodes are very minimal. I am initially pretty fearful, but I relax once I get to know and trust you. In my new life, my natural curiosity is emerging and I enjoy watching what's going on outside of my habitat. I have a great appetite and should do well with a family that will work with my special needs - especially if they will continue target training, which helps me focus and prevents wobble episodes when I get excited about eating.
Hi, I’m Dahlia and am a 4 year old female. I really enjoy climbing and my favorite hide is a cardboard paper towel tube, though I like tight spaces in general. My previous life was in a rack so I've never had a chance to be socialized around people. But I'm not defensive and am becoming more outgoing every day. I have a good appetite and I am even a little bit of a star with target training - which will give my new family a great opportunity to set up positive interactions with me! I'm an intelligent and curious lady who's ready for a wonderful new life.
Hi, I’m Merrin and at 6 years old I'm a pretty big girl who's not fearful or defensive. But I've had few chances to learn about being around people so I'm a bit shy. My natural curiosity is strong, so there are lots of chances to have positive interactions with me. I'm out and visible a lot, use everything in my habitat, and have a good appetite. I love cardboard boxes and would like an enclosure filled with lots of things to explore. My ideal family will see my potential and help me blossom.
Hi, I'm Dax, a 5 year old female who's outgoing and curious. I'm a Spider morph with moderate wobble but this hasn't interfered with my normal activities. I love my humid hide, and have a good appetite. Because of my wobble, target training has been great for me - it helps me focus at mealtime, which cuts down on my balance issues when I get excited about eating. I am a little shy but I like to be at the front of my habitat to watch what's going on. I have very good pet potential if your family is comfortable with my wobble, OK with just light handling, and able to provide a calm environment.
Jupiter was cleared for adoption as of 7/18! Jupiter is a 3 year old male who has the wobble gene, but so far has minimal neurological symptoms. When he first arrived he was thin, terrified, and shut down, so could not be considered for adoption until he gained weight and became less fearful. Thanks to gentle habituation, he's now comfortable with sanctuary staff and is hesitant but curious with strangers. Because of his wobble, he needs a family that will provide a low-stress environment (dealing with rambunctious kiddos would be tough for him). It would be ideal if you're willing to continue his target training, as this helps wobbly snakes stay focused and reduces the chance of wobble episodes when they become excited at mealtime. Jupiter has been through a lot, but his sweet and gentle temperament is shining through, and he should be a wonderful addition to the right family.
Pip was cleared for adoption as of 7/18! Pip is a 6 year old male who at arrival was underweight as well as suffering muscle atrophy (loss of muscle mass due to starvation) and stuck shed. He's been recovering nicely, the stuck shed is taken care of, and our wonderful veterinarian says he has almost reached normal weight for his size. Pip is a resilient soul who from the start has been outgoing, curious and engaging, even with strangers. He really enjoys exploring and climbing, and would thrive with a family that provides lots of enrichment and supervised free roaming or playpen time outside of his habitat to help him continue to regain muscle and encourage his inquisitive, bold temperament. Pip is ready for a loving forever home with a family that would welcome a friendly explorer.
