This Privacy Policy describes how the mobile game Snack Sort ("the Game", "we", "us") handles information. The Game is developed and published by YaikoGames ("the Developer").
By installing and using the Game you agree to this policy.
We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, or anything else that identifies you personally. The Game has no accounts and no sign-in, and we operate no servers of our own.
Your game progress stays on your device and never leaves it (section 2).
Two kinds of information do leave your device, and both are processed by Google on our behalf:
anonymous information about how the Game is played, so that we can find levels that are too hard or unclear and fix them (section 3);
the information Google needs in order to show and measure advertising (section 4).
Neither is linked to your name or to any account, because the Game has neither.
The Game saves your progress locally on your device only. This data never leaves your device, is not transmitted anywhere, and is not accessible to us. It includes:
current level number and gold balance;
number of lives and the timer until the next life is restored;
quantity of owned boosters;
which food types you have collected (in-game collection album);
which tutorials you have already seen;
your music and sound-effects on/off preferences.
This data is removed when you uninstall the Game.
The Game uses Google Analytics for Firebase, a service of Google LLC, to understand how the Game is played.
The following is collected:
an app-instance identifier: a random ID generated on your device for this installation of the Game;
the Android advertising identifier;
events describing progress through the Game: which level was started, whether it was won or lost, how long it took, and why it ended;
app lifecycle information such as sessions and screen views;
a masked IP address, from which an approximate, country-level location is derived; the IP address itself is not retained.
We use this for one purpose: to see where players stop playing, and to make those levels better. We do not use it to identify or track individual people, and the Game gives us no way to connect it to you.
All data is transmitted over an encrypted TLS connection.
The Game displays advertising provided by Google AdMob, a service of Google LLC. To serve and measure ads, Google may collect and process:
your device's advertising identifier (Android Advertising ID);
device information: model, operating-system version, language, screen characteristics, mobile network and country;
IP address, which may be used to approximate your general location;
interaction with ads: whether an ad was shown, viewed, or clicked.
This collection is performed by Google, not by us. We never receive this data in a form that identifies you individually; we see only aggregate reports such as the total number of ad impressions.
Google's handling of the data described in sections 3 and 4 is governed by their own policies:
Google Privacy Policy — https://policies.google.com/privacy
How Google uses information from partner sites and apps — https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites
Everyone. You can reset or delete your advertising identifier, or opt out of personalised advertising entirely, in your device settings: Settings → Google → Ads. Doing so does not remove ads, but they will no longer be personalised.
Users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland. Before any ad is requested, the Game shows a consent form provided by Google's User Messaging Platform, where you choose whether your data may be used for personalised advertising.
Analytics follows the same decision. Until you answer the form, nothing is collected: events are held in the Game's memory on your device. If you decline, they are discarded and nothing is sent at all. If you do not give consent, the Game also does not request ads.
You can change your decision at any time through the privacy options available in the Game's settings.
The Game is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect any information from children. If you believe a child has provided information through the Game, please contact us and we will act promptly.
On your device. To remove all locally stored game data, uninstall the Game.
Analytics. Analytics data is retained for two months, after which Google deletes it automatically. You can prevent any further collection by declining consent, or by revisiting the privacy options in the Game's settings.
Advertising. For data collected by Google for advertising purposes, please refer to Google's privacy policy linked above.
The Game stores data on your device only in the private application storage area, protected by the operating system's own security mechanisms. Information sent to Google is transmitted over an encrypted TLS connection.
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version will always be available at this address, and the "Last updated" date above will change accordingly.
