If sharing your feelings feels hard, you're not alone. Come explore gentle ways to nurture your mind and spirit through art and journaling. This is a safe space to express what's inside, work through challenging emotions, and discover your strength – one creative step at a time. We celebrate every bit of progress, big or small.
Together, we build practical wellness too – things like staying clean, hydrated, and helping each other to feel our best. Get ready for some fun this fall as we use a football theme soon to practice teamwork, respect, and bouncing back!
Join our caring circle for creative projects, supportive chats, wellness challenges (with rewards!), and kindness for your whole self.

Creative Wellness Coach Sandra Martin met with SNAAP members via Zoom on Tuesday, October 21st, 2025 to kick off our new football-themed wellness challenge. We discussed prize ideas, teamwork, and started a football garland made from wooden cutouts. They will spell out "TEAM." Ms. Carol helped members in their classroom.
Building better friendships with strong yet flexible boundaries. We did a shield craft that explored strengths and helpers for the first half of this lesson.
For the second part of this unit, we reviewed the previous month's lesson. Then we focused on adding worries and blockers to our shield craft.
We did a wellness challenge focusing on hydration, hygiene, exercise, and healthy habits. We also learned about the Locus of Control (Circle of Control) to understand what we can and cannot control in our lives. It was a big success!
Sandra is trauma-informed certified holistic coach with over two years of 1:1 experience helping clients unlock their emotions and find calm through the power of creativity. The goal of coaching isn't to make someone dependent on their life coach, but to help the person find wholeness and tap into their own inner strengths. Sandra brings this same energy to group coaching and wellness classes.
Whether creating paper dolls or paper-mâché, or dialoguing with inner facets of the personality through journaling and spontaneous art, Sandra guides participants to bring more harmony and integration to conflicting emotions, habits, and behaviors. Members are encouraged to find their support network internally as well finding their helpers around them, and build strong, healthy, and sometimes flexible boundaries.
Find your voice of wisdom and encouragement. Be your own inner coach!
