sn0wbreeze is a tool used to create custom IPSWs to restore, similar to PwnageTool. Can be used to jailbreak and unlock when making the custom IPSW. This is a GUI of XPwn for Windows written in C# (previously Visual Basic) and is developed by iH8sn0w. It is released under GPL v3 license, and previous versions source are available on GitHub, however this violates the GPL.
Sn0wbreeze is a tool which enables users to jailbreak their iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad or AppleTV as long as it is running iOS 5.x or 6.x. You can browse through a variety of repositories and even add external ones. Expert Mode: This mode will present to you options for customizing your Jailbreak before creating your custom pre-Jailbroken IPSW. This includes setting your root partition, selecting pre-installed packages etc. For iOS 3.1.3, 3.2.x, 4.0.x, 4.1, 4.2.1 to 4.2.8, 4.3 to 4.3.3, 4.4.3, 4.4.4, 5.0.1, 5.0.2, 5.1.1, 5.2, 6.0.x, 6.1, 6.1.2, 6.1.3 General: The general section contains customization options such as enabling battery percentage, hacktivating the iPhone, installing SSH and setting your root partition size. IFaith Mode: Selecting this mode will allow you to create a custom IPSW containing previously saved SHSH blobs. Simple Mode: This mode will begin creating a custom pre-Jailbreak IPSW without selecting any customization options. Unlocks: If your iPhone is running a baseband version that can be software unlocked then this section will be available. Very few baseband versions can be software unlocked, so it is unlikely this section will be available. Compatibility and Licensesn0wbreeze has been released under the open source GPL license on Windows from iPhone tools. The license provides the options to freely download, install, run and share this program without any restrictions. The source code for sn0wbreeze should be freely available and modifications are certainly permitted as well as the option to inspect the software.

For some reason iTunes isn't letting me install my sn0wbreeze ipsw onto my 3G. Everything else is working (the iphone is in DFU mode, its reading the phone, etc) I just get this error message when I try to install the ipsw. Not really sure if it's entirely important but, I am running windows 11 on iTunes 12.
Yet another update to Sn0wbreeze has been released. This new update version 3.1.3 V1.5.2 brings fix for 64-bit users who were earlier having problems using this software with their iPhone on 64-bit Windows machines. Also added in this version is more speed and reliability, and the package has now been reduced to just 18mb in size. Unfortunately though, Blacksn0w unlock for iPhone 3GS is still crippled in this version, but you can follow the fix posted here for blacksn0w to unlock 05.11.07 baseband on this latest firmware. If you have iPhone 2G, 3G, 3GS or iPhone touch 1G/2G, you can use sn0wbreeze to jailbreak iPhone OS 3.1.3.
Instructions for jailbreaking using sn0wbreeze 3.1.3 V1.5.2 are exactly similar to the last release. Once you are done with jailbreak, you can then unlock your iPhone using ultrasn0w (for 04.26.08 baseband), or by using blacksn0w (for 05.11.07 baseband).

run the latest version of sn0wbreeze and choose the ipsw for your apple tv that you downloaded from iclassified at the beginning that must match your apple tv firmware. (obviosly not 5.2.1 that cant be jailbroke)
then choose i faith mode
in ifaith mode get it to grab your blobs from your desktop that u saved earlier and let sn0w build your custom jailbroke firmware.
