iridescence is my first official art project. my aim was to emphasize color in a photo through the props, makeup, and lights hence the title iridescence and why i chose the clothes to be simple. the beauty of color is that it stands out from the black and white of the world, just as the people in these photos do. i chose to have a vintage style for all of these photos to match up the vintage props used. the first scene is leisure activities, everyday things we all do. the second scene is a birthday scene, i actually didn’t plan for the cake to melt but it added a cool effect. for the rest of the photos i wanted a more editorial look, i seriously couldn’t pick my favorites, everything went so well and i couldn’t be happier with the final product, thanks everyone so much!
