~ We are kindred sowers of joy ~
We're a group of Saint Mary's University students who have a passion for neurodivergence. This passion comes in all shapes and sizes, from pure curiosity, self-discovery, support for loved ones, and/or a burning drive for advocacy and change.
The SMU Neurodivergence Society serves as a lighthouse, guiding, welcoming, and illuminating paths of connection for all who celebrate neurological diversity.
Our mission is to foster an inclusive and empowering community, advocate for accessibility and understanding, provide meaningful resources, and sow joy by celebrating the strengths and uniqueness each individual brings to our campus and beyond.
We envision a university community where neurodiversity is actively celebrated and embraced, empowering every individual (diagnosed, undiagnosed, questioning, or ally) to flourish academically, socially, and personally. Through education, advocacy, support, and celebration, we strive for a campus environment marked by inclusion, equity, and thriving neurodiverse voices.
