Professional Experience:

• Prepared mitigation for over 75 state and federal capital cases since 2008

• Has been appointed as a mitigation specialist in multiple districts in Florida and

Pennsylvania as well as in the US District Court, Middle District of Florida

• Participated in the mitigation of State of Florida v. Grady Nelson, which introduced

the use of QEEG as a mitigation tool and successfully gained a life verdict

• Experienced in capital mitigation and Miller/Graham re-sentencings

• Specializes in:

• Locating and interfacing with experts including mental health professionals

and medical specialists

• Forensic interviewing of clients, family members, friends, teachers and

coaches

• Interviewing for mental illness and intellectual disability
• Intensive review and indexing of records
• Developing mitigation themes
• Composing waiver packages
