A. Personal Information You Provide to Us Name:
Collected when you create an account or sign up to personalize your profile and experience inside the App. Email Address: Collected during account registration (via email signup, Google Sign-In, or Sign in with Apple) to authenticate your identity, manage your account, verify your details, and provide customer support. Phone Number (if provided): Used for user authentication, security verification, or account recovery.
B. User-Generated Content Photos and Videos:
We access your device's camera or photo library with your explicit permission to allow you to upload a Profile Picture and attach images to your Surgical Preference Cards. Other User Content: We collect and store the content you create inside the App, including your custom Surgical Preference Cards, list of supplies, suture preferences, calendar events, and notes.
C. Device and Identifiers User ID:
We generate a unique internal User ID linked to your account to securely manage your database records and synchronize your data across devices. Device ID and Tokens: We collect your device's unique token (via Firebase Cloud Messaging - FCM) to deliver push notifications, such as updates about calendar events and subscription statuses.
D. Purchases and Subscriptions Purchase History:
When you subscribe to our premium services, we track your purchase history and subscription status (e.g., active, expired) to unlock corresponding features inside the App. Note: All payment transactions are securely processed directly by Apple App Store (In-App Purchases) or Google Play Store. We do not collect or store your credit card or financial account numbers on our servers.
How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information for the following purposes:
To Provide App Functionality: Authenticating your account, rendering your profile, displaying your dashboard, and allowing you to create, download, and manage your preference cards and events. To Manage Subscriptions: Validating purchase receipts and keeping track of your subscription level to grant access to premium features. To Send Push Notifications: Providing real-time alerts about calendar events, system updates, and account status. For Analytics and Performance (Optional): We may collect anonymized usage data and crash logs (e.g., via Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics) to diagnose bugs, improve app stability, and optimize user experience. To Provide Customer Support: Responding to your queries, troubleshooting app issues, and addressing feedback.
Data Sharing and Third-Party Services
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We do not use your personal information for targeted cross-site or cross-app advertising (tracking).
We only share your information with trusted third-party service providers necessary to operate the App, including: Firebase (Google LLC): For authentication, cloud database hosting, push notifications, and analytics/crash reporting. Apple Inc. and Google LLC: For processing in-app purchases, subscription management, and social logins (Sign in with Apple / Google Sign-In).
These third parties are bound by strict confidentiality agreements and are permitted to use your information solely to provide services to us.
Data Security
We implement industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical security measures (including HTTPS/SSL encryption for all communication with our servers) designed to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. However, please note that no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.
Your Rights and Account Deletion
We respect your control over your personal data. You have the right to: Access and update your profile details inside the App settings. Request deletion of your account and all associated personal data.
How to Delete Your Account and Data: In compliance with Apple's App Store Guidelines, you can delete your account and all associated data directly from the Settings / Profile screen within the App. Alternatively, you can submit an account deletion request by emailing us at [Your Support Email Address]. Upon receiving your request, we will permanently delete your account and all associated preference cards, profile data, and event history from our databases within 30 days.
Children's Privacy
Our App is not designed for or targeted at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, we will immediately delete it from our servers.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date at the top. We encourage you to review this policy periodically for any changes.
