Our Group focus on fatigue and fracture of advanced materials and structures, particularly in fatigue, creep, and creep-fatigue

 Research area

Fracture Mechanics

Linear elastic fracture mechanics is the analysis of cracks in linear elastic materials including multibody simulation using FEM.


Low- and High- Cycle Fatigue

Advanced characterization of fatigue failure during its plastic and elastic deformation.


Creep-Fatigue Interaction

Creep fatigue occurs where the material is under stress and subjected to extreme temperatures.

Durability Fatigue

Durability evaluation includes structural test, spectrum loads, cummulative damage.


Failure Analysis

We research on specific component failure, NDT and develop Machine Learning (ML) models for failure prediction.

Fatigue-Neural Network

Development of simulation experiments on the neural network algorithm for online monitoring of fatigue damage, failure prognostics and service life prediction.


3D Printed Solid Propellant

Fabrication of the feasibility of solid propellant materials using additive manufacturing.

Natural Fiber Composites

We develop Gnetum gnemon as a newly eco-friendly natural fiber for composites reinforcement for armour materials.
