Account & Data Deletion
SmPlan – Todo List with Reminder
You can delete or manage your SmPlan data by following the instructions below.
This page explains how you can manage, export, and delete your data in the Android app SmPlan – Todo List with Reminder, developed by tact.
We Respect Your Privacy
SmPlan does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to our servers.
All your data is stored locally on your device, or optionally synced to your Google Tasks account using Google Sign-In.
We provide:
Manual and automatic sync with Google Tasks (optional)
A sign-out option to revoke access to Google
A data export feature
Full offline use with no internet or server dependency
How to Delete Your Account and Revoke Access
If you connected a Google Account to sync your tasks:
Open SmPlan
Go to Settings > Sync with Google
Tap "Log out"
This will:
• Revoke the app’s access to your Google Account
• Stop all future synchronization with Google Tasks
• Remove your connected account from the app
You can also manually manage connected apps in your Google Account at:
https://myaccount.google.com/permissions
Important: Logging out does not delete your tasks or settings stored on your device, nor does it delete any tasks synced to Google servers. To delete synced tasks, you must remove them directly via the Google Tasks app or by visiting: tasks.google.com .
What Data Is Stored Locally
Your task lists, items, and reminders
Your sync preferences and settings
Any exported backup files you create manually
This data stays on your device until you delete it manually.
How to Delete All Local Data
To remove all your local data from SmPlan:
Option 1: Clear App Data via Device Settings
Go to Settings > Apps > SmPlan
Tap Storage & Cache
Tap Clear Storage or Clear Data
Option 2: Uninstall the App
Uninstalling SmPlan will remove all locally stored data.
SmPlan does not store your data anywhere else — uninstalling the app deletes everything the app holds. However, if you enabled synchronization, your synced tasks will remain stored on Google’s servers and must be deleted separately via the Google Tasks app or by visiting: tasks.google.com
Exporting Your Data
You can export your task data from SmPlan for backup purposes.
Exported files are saved to your device or a location you choose (such as Downloads or Google Drive)
These files may include your tasks, lists, and due dates
SmPlan does not send these files to any server or third party
You are responsible for managing or deleting the exported files yourself.
What Data Is Retained
Google Account Access: Not retained — revoked when you log out
Local Tasks and Settings: Retained until you delete them — stored on your device
Exported Backup Files: Retained until you delete them — stored wherever you saved them
Synced Google Tasks: Retained by Google — managed in your Google Account
Tasks synced to Google Tasks remain stored on Google’s servers. You can view, edit, or delete these tasks at any time via the Google Tasks app or by visiting: tasks.google.com
Use of the Google Tasks service is subject to Google's Privacy Policy . Any data synced to Google is managed under Google’s Privacy Policy and can be edited or deleted at any time through Google Tasks.
Data Retention Period
SmPlan retains no data on any external servers
All data is stored on your device only
Local data is kept until you delete it by:
• Uninstalling the app
• Clearing app data via device settings
Exported files remain in storage or cloud accounts until you delete them
However, if you enabled synchronization, your synced tasks will remain stored on Google’s servers and must be deleted separately via the Google Tasks app or by visiting: tasks.google.com
