I am an Assistant Adjunct Professor at the University of California Center Sacramento. I teach courses on public policy as well American and California politics. My research focuses on immigration politics and policy in both the American and comparative context. My written work concerns the rights of immigrants; the environmental consequences of immigration; and the dynamics of migrants' remittances. I am currently studying the determinants and effects of immigration policy enforcement.
