The hookah culture is wholly based on experience and personal choice. You pick which hookah is based on the size or aesthetics. You might choose your bowls based on tribulations and trials.
If you ask us about our personal preference, we like to use Al Fakher flavors for our hookah sessions. There are various basic things when it comes to loading your shisha bowl with Al Fakher flavors. However, once you get a hold of the basics of setting up a hookah, you are dialed in to your own liking after setting up your own hookah for the first time.
Now the real questions arise. What about those four or five tins of Al Fakher flavours you've opened to create your own favorite blend? Are you like us where you just tend to leave them in their respective tins? Or are you a collector with a couple of handfuls of Al Fakher flavours in their own storage containers organized by flavor type?
These things are sometimes overlooked, and good old science peaks its head in to say hello when your Al Fakher flavour seems to be losing flavor. So here are some of the vital things you have to consider while storing your supplies.
You can always keep your shisha tobacco in the manufacturers' packaging in which it is being shipped. However, persistent smokers tend to do this more often. The process is relatively easy. Open the container, pull a bit for a bowl, and close it back up.
The method makes sense if you've got smaller packets. Suppose you smoke often and tend to use up shisha pretty quickly. In that case, storing them in the manufacturers' packaging is pretty convenient. However, most smaller containers do not seal well for long durations. Also, the interior foil wrappers can get messy.
The best way to keep your Al Fakher flavor fresh is to use a resealable bag or container. This is especially helpful when larger containers like 100g or 250g or even 1-kilo packages. Some of the smokers found it challenging to store Al Fakher mint. Thus, for them, this is the perfect way to store the flavor.
Putting together this kind of setup is excellent. Later, as you restock, you already have the dedicated containers for your Al Fakher flavors. So not only will you help prolong the life of your Al Fakher flavor, but it is also nice to know at a glance what you have and what you're running low on.
Al Fakher flavors are pretty hardy, but it is made from natural elements. Just like anything else organic, the environment needs to be considered when storing shisha tobacco. The ideal place to keep your shisha tobacco is in a neutral temperature space that is dry.
Your Al Fakher flavor is most comfortable in an environment where you would be satisfied. That is a room temperature with low humidity.
Make sure that you do not refrigerate after reopening the sealed packs. Don't, and definitely don't consider the freezer.
There are no advantages to keeping your shisha tobacco in the refrigerator. Moreover, if you have to, keep the cool setting to the least cool option. If you ask us, storing your Al Fakher flavor shisha in the refrigerator is just a bad idea!
Why do you ask? This is because the extreme cold will dry out the tobacco, and it will also start to affect the oils in the molasses. It also won't make your shisha cooler during the smoke session. So when you pull that shisha out to smoke, not only will temperature shock go into play, but the Al Fakher flavor will have lost its richness.
We hope you now feel like going to your local hookah shop and getting a dozen storage containers. The next time you open a new packet of Al Fakher flavour, take the above insights into mind. Don't forget to store the other half of the equation properly, that is, your shisha flavors.
