We are excited to announce the 2025 edition of the Spanish Meiosis Meeting, which will take place in El Escorial, Madrid (Spain) from July 7th to 9th, 2025. The meeting will follow the same schedule as in previous years, starting on the afternoon of July 7th and concluding after lunch on July 9th.
The meeting will be held at Casa Ejercicios San José (Avd. Reyes Católicos Nº 12, El Escorial 28200, Madrid), located near the Monasterio de El Escorial and within walking distance of both bus stops and the train station. Registration will include full accommodation in shared rooms (single rooms will also be available for an additional charge), as well as meals and coffee breaks. For those who do not plan to stay overnight, an option will be available to register for meals and coffee breaks only. The deadline for registration and abstract submission is June 15th, 2025.
As in past editions, the primary goal of the meeting is to foster a relaxed environment for sharing results and ideas. The program will include several short talks, invited speaker (Dr. Enrique Martínez Pérez), and, depending on the number of registrations, a poster session. We especially encourage younger researchers (postdocs, PhD students, and graduate students) to attend, as this will be an excellent opportunity to present and discuss their work with the meiosis community. All talks and posters will be presented in English.
After registration you will receive a confirmation e-mail with your registration information. Payment will be arranged individually by each delegate with Casa San José upon arrival.
We look forward to welcoming you all to Madrid!
Kind regards,
The Organisers
