Localization of Aminopeptidase P in the Brain of Cockroach Periplaneta americana by Immunohistochemistry Method

Description: In my research project, I investigated the distribution and potential role of aminopeptidase P (AP-P) in the brain and olfactory structures of Periplaneta americana. Using immunocytochemistry, I observed strong AP-P immunoreactivity in the antennal lobe, antennal nerve, and a few cells of the antenna, suggesting its involvement in olfaction. Further exploration of its role and molecular cascade in olfactory information processing is warranted. Through this experience, I developed expertise in advanced laboratory techniques such as tissue fixation, staining, and immunohistochemistry while also enhancing my skills in literature review and scientific communication.
Molecular Diagnostic Tests on SARS-CoV-2 Samples: Experimental and Bioinformatic Analyses

Description: In my role conducting Molecular Diagnostic Tests on SARS-CoV-2 samples, I operated within a BSL-3 environment, performing various PCR tests, including RT-PCR, qRT-PCR, and LAMP PCR. Collaborating closely with Dr. Ozarkar, I ensured accurate and timely reporting of results for COVID-19 patients. This experience provided me with valuable hands-on training and in-depth knowledge of molecular biology techniques and instrumentation, including the Quant Studio 5 platform.
