Smith's Farm Market has a long and rich history, stretching back over a century. 

The market was originally established in 1883 by John Smith, a farmer who grew a variety of crops including apples, peaches, and strawberries. 

At that time, the market was a small roadside stand where John would sell his produce directly to customers passing by. Over time, the market grew in popularity and expanded its offerings to include other locally grown fruits and vegetables.

In the mid-20th century, John's grandson, Robert Smith, took over the market and expanded it even further. Robert began to offer a wider variety of produce, including exotic fruits and vegetables that were not commonly grown in the area. 

He also started to sell homemade pies, jams, and other baked goods made with the fruit and produce from his farm. Under Robert's leadership, Smith's Farm Market became a popular destination for both locals and tourists, known for its high-quality products and friendly staff.
