All About Me

My name is Kendra Smith. I am a graduate of Kennesaw State University. This is my 25th year teaching and I am so happy to be face to face! Abney is such a special home away from home. Kindergarten is my absolutely favorite! I have also taught EIP, 1st, and 2nd grades. What I love most about teaching is the relationships I am blessed to build with my students and their families. It is awesome to see each child grow in their own way and their own timing. In my classroom we like to have fun!

My husband's name is Brent. We have 4 children and 1 grandchild. Two of our children are in college , one is married , and one is in 7th grade. We are lucky enough to live close to all of our children and spend a lot of time together. As a family we love to cook, bake, play cards, go to the movies, and travel. Our favorite destinations are Disney or the beach! My hobbies include reading, walking, riding around on the golf cart, and sitting by the pool.
