Dr. Smith K. Khare

About

Smith Khare is an Assistant Professor at Syddansk Universitet, Denmark. Prior to this, he was working as a postdoc researcher in the department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Aarhus University, Denmark. 

He was a research scholar in the discipline of Electronics and Communication Engineering, at Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design, and Manufacturing (IIITDM) Jabalpur, India in 2022. He has carried his research under the supervision of Dr. Varun Bajaj in brain signal analysis and synthesis with an application to detection of different neurological disorders. He worked as Assistant Professor at Shri Ramdeobaba College of Engineering and Management, G. H. Raisoni College of Engineering, and Yeshwantro Chavan College of Engineering, Nagpur, India from 2015 to 2018. He received M.Tech degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute, Mumbai, India in 2015 and B.E. Degree from Nagpur University in 2012. Mr. Smith has done his secondary and higher secondary schooling certificates from Nagpur.

He has authored more than 40+ research papers in various reputed international journals/conferences like IEEE Transactions, Elsevier, Springer, IOP etc. The citation impact of his publications is around 1000+ citations, h index of 18, and i10 index of 22 (Google Scholar January 2023). He is a recipient of various reputed national and international awards. His research interests include biomedical signal processing, image processing, time-frequency analysis, and computer-aided medical diagnosis.
