Dr. Smith K. Khare

About

Smith Khare is an Associate Professor at Syddansk Universitet, Denmark. Prior to this, I was working as an Assistant Professor at Syddansk Universitet, Denmark and  a postdoc researcher in the department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Aarhus University, Denmark. 

I was a research scholar in the discipline of Electronics and Communication Engineering, at Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design, and Manufacturing (IIITDM) Jabalpur, India in 2022 and was a gold medalist. I carried my research under the supervision of Dr. Varun Bajaj in brain signal analysis and synthesis with an application to detection of different neurological disorders. I worked as Assistant Professor at RTMNU, Nagpur, India from 2015 to 2018. 

I have authored more than 50+ research papers in various reputed international journals/conferences like IEEE Transactions, Elsevier, Springer, IOP etc. The citation impact of my publications is around 4100+ citations, h index of 32, and i10 index of 44 (Google Scholar). I am a recipient of various reputed national and international awards. My research interests include biomedical signal processing, image processing, Agentic AI for health, and computer-aided medical diagnosis.
