Smith and Sons Home Improvement is a family-owned business. Founded by Sean Smith, with a total of 35 years of experience in the remodeling and Home Improvement trades. He was raised around the trades from the time he was 5 years old. At the age of 7, he had a drill and ran a radial arm saw with his Grandfather, who truly served as his mentor as he was growing up. Sean was always interested in craftsmanship and enjoyed watching the older men build houses and cabins. The smell of fresh cut lumber was something he loved.

Growing up, Sean spent his time building cars, trucks, and even a guitar from paneling and 1x2, along with countless forts. Throughout this time, he closely observed his grandfather working on various projects and cabinets. This is where it all began for Sean. At the age of 19, he started working as a carpenter for a well-known remodeling company in Ann Arbor, Michigan. He spent 13 years doing high-end remodeling and became highly requested by customers at a young age.

In 2019, Sean made the decision to further his dreams and start Smith and Sons Home Improvement, a smaller family-owned company with aspirations to grow and excel in the industry. They strive for excellence and enjoy meeting and discussing customers' visions. Smith and Sons take the customers' ideas, dreams, and visions and turn them into reality. Their motto is "We take the time to care." From planning to starting the project and all the way to completion, they prioritize customer satisfaction and aim to be the trusted go-to contractor.

Now in business for almost 5 years, Smith and Sons Home Improvement are licensed, insured, and bonded. They have built a strong reputation solely through word-of-mouth referrals. The team is looking forward to continuing to grow and help customers bring their dreams to life.
