The Palawan State University College Admission Test (PSUCAT) checks if students are ready for college by testing different thinking skills. It has six parts: verbal reasoning, numerical reasoning, abstract reasoning, spelling reasoning, language reasoning, mechanical reasoning, and spatial reasoning. These parts test how well students understand words, numbers, patterns, spelling, language, mechanical ideas, and space. This test helps the university choose students who are well-prepared for college studies.
If you decide to take the University of the Philippines College Admission Test (UPCAT), The UPCAT consists of 4 subtests: Language Proficiency, Science, Mathematics, and Reading Comprehension. Standardized scores on these subtests are combined with the weighted average of final grades of your Grade 8 to Grade 11 of high school to determine qualification into UP.
