At SMHS, we take participation in the science fair very seriously. The creation and completion of a science fair project serves as an excellent test of scientific thinking, inquiry, and ability to conduct experiments. As such, the science fair will count as a major portion of your honors science or chemistry course grade. It is imperative you take your science fair project seriously and you do not procrastinate.

On this page you will find required documents, guiding prompts, a calendar and rubrics. While some class time may be given for working on projects, students will complete the majority of these projects at home.
