CA-20091 Unit Goals 2017-2018 School Year

1. Increase awareness and visibility of the unit on the school campus through multiple social media platforms with a goal of boosting recruitment by 10%

2. Invest in cadet's futures by inviting a variety of guest speakers and alumni to show the cadets different avenues for success in the future

3. Acquire a total of 2,500 community service hours by participating in at least 50 community service events by the end of 2017-2018 school year

4. Establish Esprit de corps within the unit through cadet recognition, unit bonding, and one of a kind field trips leading to re-enrollment by cadets in future semesters

5. Host at least 2 school wide community service events in order to raise awareness and improve the relationship between the unitand other clubs on campus

6. Establish an extensive community outreach program that will promote the unit and lead to increased awareness and utilization of JROTC by the community

San Marcos High School AFJROTC CA-20091 was founded in 2009, created to promote the values of Integrity, Service, and Excellence among the students of San Marcos High.

Our Mission?

Cadets in the program experience an opportunity that no other class can provide. Aerospace science, physical training, Air Force history, military drill, dress and appearance, and life skills are just a few of the subjects that are taught over the course of a year.
