SMDP Rosary - Announcement Letter

Dear friends,

I am pleased to introduce this website, developed specifically for our daily rosary group. This resource was created to provide:

Simplicity: The site provides a single, centralized source for all prayers, removing the need to rely on multiple materials such as prayer cards, pamphlets, or books.
Consistency: Ensures that everyone recites the same version of a prayer.
Flexibility: Makes it easier to add or update prayers, like the Pardon Prayer, which was recently added.
Ease of Access: Simplifies the process of instructing new participants on getting started.

The site can also be accessed via the St. Martin de Porres website (https://www.stmartindp.com) by navigating to Ministries, at the top of the homepage then select SMDP Daily Rosary Group then click on the SMDP Daily Rosary Group Website link.

To add the new website to your home page on:

iPhone:

1. Launch the Safari browser on your iPhone.

2. Open the website https://sites.google.com/view/smdprosary/home

3. At the bottom of the screen, tap the Share icon (a square with an arrow pointing upward).

4. Scroll down the Share options and tap Add to Home Screen.

5. A preview will appear, showing the website’s name and icon. You can edit the name if you’d like to change it.

6. Tap the “Add” button in the upper right corner of the screen.

7. The website will now appear as an icon on your home screen, just like an app. Tap it anytime to open the website.

Android:

1. Launch the Chrome browser on your Android phone.

2. Open the website https://sites.google.com/view/smdprosary/home

3. Tap the three-dot menu icon in the top-right corner of the screen.

4. Select “Add to Home Screen”

5. A dialog box will appear, allowing you to edit the name of the shortcut. Keep it short and descriptive if desired.

6. Tap “Add” and you'll be prompted to either drag the icon to a specific spot on your home screen or have it placed automatically.

7. The website will now appear as an icon on your home screen. Tap it anytime to open the website directly.
