Befrest is a mobile application that allows users to send SIM card credit and internet packages to friends and activate telecommunications packages in Afghanistan using USSD codes. Your privacy is important to us, and this policy explains how we handle information when you use the app.

Befrest does not collect, store, or share any personal information from your device. We do not require access to SMS, call logs, contacts, or any other personal data. 

3. Camera Access 

The app requests access to your device’s camera only for the following purposes:

● Scanning QR codes for faster credit transfer.

●  Reading scratch card numbers to streamline top-ups. 

Camera access is not used for any other purpose, and no images or videos are collected or stored by the app.

4. USSD Functionality 

Befrest uses USSD codes to send credit, internet packages, and activate telecommunications services. The app does not trigger USSD codes directly. Instead, it generates the code and sends it to your device’s phone screen via intent. No SMS or call permissions are required to use this feature. 

5. Advertising and Analytics 

The app may share your device’s advertising ID with third-party advertising partners for analytics and ad personalization purposes. No other device data or personal information is collected or shared. 

6. Data Security 

Even though Befrest does not collect personal data, we take reasonable measures to ensure that your interactions with the app remain secure. 

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy 

We may update this privacy policy from time to time to reflect changes in our app or legal requirements. Updates will be posted within the app, and the effective date will be revised accordingly.
