Youth For Direct Relief Club is a group of socially conscious students at San Marcos High School trying to benefit the world through the Direct Relief Organization. We strive to make the world a better place by hosting fundraisers to support causes we believe are relevant to our community, and planet.
Direct Relief is a non-profit humanitarian aid organization, with a mission to improve the lives of millions affected by emergencies - without regard to politics, religion, or ability to pay. Direct Relief was founded in Santa Barbara in 1948, and has grown every year since. In 2021 alone, Direct Relief donated and delivered $1.9 Billion in aid.
Youth for Direct Relief is an excellent opportunity to make a local impact, earn community service, and gain unparalleled experience with managing projects, and engaging in San Marcos!
