NOTES: A near perfect capture and the first known DVD of this shows Off-Broadway run. Barrett is incredibly talented: amazing vocals, acting and comedic timing. Dan and Charissa are both fantastic in their roles as well. The show is absolutely hysterical, much improved from the movie version. The first minute of Act One is blacked out, but the show is otherwise fully intact with no blackouts and only slight washout in a few wide shots. There is no obstruction, the video is steady, the sound is excellent, and its captured very well with the usual mix of wides, mediums, and close-ups. Michael Damian (Joseph), Kelli Rabke (Narrator), Clifford David (Jacob), Robert Torti (Pharoah)
NOTES: Shot from right side of orchestra seating on the aisle. Camera is never truly in focus, and there is definitely gen loss here, but itís a significant improvement. Despite all this, the audio is pretty solid except some warble. Cropped to 1.66:1 in a 16:9 matte to remove grossness from various VCR issues and dead space. No action has been lost from the original version.

NOTES: Fantastic and powerful performances from the whole cast. This is as nicely captured as can be expected from this show. NOTES: Beautiful capture of the full original cast, from the orchestra. This hands down is the best capture of the original cast. This was done early in Alices run, before she had strained her voice. Wonderful to revisit this show in all its glory! A+
The Outsiders - Broadway - April, 2024 (allisforgiven's master)
Brody Grant (Ponyboy Curtis), Sky Lakota-Lynch (Johnny Cade), Joshua Boone (Dallas Winston), Brent Comer (Darrel Curtis), Jason Schmidt (Sodapop Curtis), Emma Pittman (Cherry Valance), Daryl Tofa (Two-Bit Mathews), Kevin William Paul (Bob Sheldon/Cop), Dan Berry (Paul Holden), SarahGrace Mariani (Marcia), Tilly Evans-Krueger (Ace), Renni Anthony Magee (Steve), RJ Higton (Chet), Sean Harrison Jones (Trip), Barton Cowperthwaite (Brill), Melody Rose (Beverly)
NOTES: Great stage shot, filmed from the far right side. This is a very dark show (lighting wise) so the video is also often quite dark, but still perfectly watchable. There's a bit more movement than usual throughout and a few instances where the actors step out of frame on the extreme right, but all the action is captured in full.

NFT Date: December 2, 2024
Peter Pan Goes Wrong - Broadway - April 30, 2023 (bikinibottomday's master)
Charlie Russell (Sandra/Wendy Darling), Nancy Zamit (Annie/Lisa/Curly/Tinker Bell/Mary Darling), Henry Lewis (Robert/Starkey/Nana the Dog), Greg Tannahill (Jonathan/Peter Pan), Neil Patrick Harris (t/r Francis/Cecco), Henry Shields (Chris Bean/Captain Hook/George), Matthew Cavendish (Crocodile/Max Bennett/Michael Darling), Chris Leask (Trevor Watson), Bianca Horn (Gill), Ellie Morris (Lucy/Tootles), Jonathan Sayer (Dennis Tyde/John Darling/Smee)
NOTES: Great 4K capture of what was originally meant to be Neil Patrick Harris’ last performance before he extended. There is head obstruction on both sides (the left more so than the right) that block some action and are worked around as best as possible. There is also some wandering and unfocusing throughout. Some scenes in the first act especially have a foggy appearance. Includes curtain call, audio is fed from external source and is somewhat muffled in the latter half of Act One.

NOTES: Great HD capture of this great new ALW show. There is a 5 minute blackout during the scene after the opening song, due to late seating issues. The cast is phenomenal and Alex gives a sensational performance. High energy show with great songs and is so much fun! The last 11 minutes (which is the finale) ARE here, but from a different performance as someone was taking *multiple* flash pictures with their iphone in the row and was scolded and babysat those 11 minutes. There is also some occasional washout, especially in wider shots. Its filmed in 16:9, with a mix of wides, mediums, and close-ups. The sound is excellent. Includes curtain call and playbill scans.

NOTES: Whole show shot from center orchestra. A head on the left that blocks a bit of stage right. The view is better than the debut one.
Aaron got great acting. Epiphany is apparently the breakdown point of his Todd, and I got a decent shot here.
Nathan gave a brilliant performance, hes a natural Anthony to me. Also Rays final week in the show, I love his Pirelli.
A hilarious tech issue during this performance: After the throat slit, the trap door under Todds chair didnt open, so the judge crawled aside instead.

Aarons Epiphany just keeps getting better, and the new casts are adding details to their performance which is great to see.

Waitress - Broadway - April, 2019 (StarCuffedJeans' master)
Shoshana Bean (Jenna), Charity Angél Dawson (Becky), Molly Jobe (u/s Dawn), Jeremy Jordan (Dr. Pomatter), Eddie Jemison (Ogie), Benny Elledge (Cal), Larry Marshall (Joe), Ben Thompson (Earl), Melody A. Betts (Nurse Norma), Stephanie Torns (Francine Pomatter), Tess Murphy (Lulu), Molly Hager (Mother), Dan Tracy (Father)
NOTES: A nearly perfect video and ABSOLUTELY PERFECT performance. Small obstructions occur at Joes table (but who cares) and during Negative. The rest of show, however, is captured gorgeously (and this time not diagonally). The video is very Shoshana focused, but I try to give everyone (yes, Jeremy too) their moments. The colors are absolutely vivid and I was trying new stabilization settings on my camera and god Im gonna keep it this way.
Do not list this video with an exact date.

NOTES: Filmed early in Saras third run, before she added new riffs, but she still gives off a wonderful performance to a very reactive audience.
