Welcome to a unique creative journey across the sparkling waters of Southern Moreton Bay. This year, we are proud to highlight the incredible talent on Russell Island and Lamb Island, where the natural beauty of the coast meets the vibrant imagination of our local creators.
As you hop between these two island gems, you’ll discover hidden studios, pop-up galleries, and breathtaking outdoor installations. From the salt-etched workshops of Russell Island to the collective showcase on Lamb Island, the trail offers a rare glimpse into the spaces where art comes to life.
Whether you are a dedicated art collector or a curious weekend explorer, the trail invites you to slow down, meet the makers, and experience the rhythm of island life. Follow the red lines, find your inspiration, and take a piece of the bay home with you.

As artists and residents of these islands, we recognize that our creative work is inseparable from the land that sustains us. It is our duty to respect these islands, their history, and their landowners highly.
The South Moreton Bay Art Trail is guided by the process of GANNGULANJI—calling out, listening, and thinking. We believe that art is most powerful when it begins with listening to the stories, the language, and the spirit of the soil beneath our feet.
We want everyone to feel relaxed and enjoy the creative energy of the trail! To keep the peace and honor our local landowners, please:- Follow the Red Lines: Stick to marked paths and public access areas.
- Respect the Boundaries: Our artists and neighbors love sharing their world, but please keep to the designated studio spaces.
- Island Time: Please arrive and depart within the listed gallery hours.
Visitors participate in the Southern Moreton Bay Island Art Trail at their own risk and are kindly asked to strictly respect private property boundaries and landowner privacy at all times.
