Effective date: October 8, 2026
This policy explains what information the Smashman app for Android (package com.applife.smashman) handles, why, and the choices you have. Smashman is an entertainment app: every bit of "damage" is a visual effect drawn on top of the screen.
When you tap the floating bubble, Android asks for your permission every time before Smashman can capture the screen.
Smashman takes a single frame of what is currently on screen, only to draw the effects on it. The frame is analysed on your device (to find text and objects to break) and is never uploaded or sent to us or anyone else.
The frame is discarded when you leave the smash layer. A picture is saved to your gallery only when you tap Save, and shared only when you tap Share and pick an app.
This permission is used only to show the floating bubble and the smash layer on top of other apps. Smashman does not read, change or delete other apps or their data.
Your settings, stats (such as best damage and combos) and unlocked weapons are stored only on your phone. They may be included in your Android device backup if you have backup turned on. Uninstalling the app deletes them.
Smashman uses the following Google services. They may collect information such as device and app information, IP address, advertising ID or app instance ID, as described in their own policies:
Google AdMob shows ads, including rewarded ads you choose to watch to unlock weapons. Ads may be personalised depending on your consent and settings.
Google User Messaging Platform asks for your consent where required by law (for example in the EEA and UK).
Firebase Analytics collects anonymous usage events (for example screens opened, sessions played, weapons used) to help us improve the app.
Firebase Crashlytics collects crash reports and device state at the time of a crash so we can fix bugs.
ML Kit (Google Play services) runs text and object detection on your device. Images are not sent to Google.
See Google Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from apps that use its services.
We do not sell your personal information.
Change your ad consent at any time in Smashman › Settings › Privacy options (shown where required).
Reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of personalised ads, in your Android settings.
Contact us to ask for analytics data linked to your app installation to be deleted.
Smashman is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
We may update this policy. Changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
