Smart Wallpaper Scheduler ("the App") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App and its service providers may collect, how it is used, and how your information is handled.
The App may collect or process certain information through services used to provide app functionality, remote wallpaper transfer, analytics, and advertising.
Information that may be collected includes:
User ID generated through Firebase Authentication for identifying the app installation/user for app functionality and Remote Wallpaper features.
Photos that you choose to send using the Remote Wallpaper feature.
Device or other IDs used by advertising services such as Google AdMob.
Diagnostic and analytics information related to the app and advertising services.
The App does not require you to provide your name, phone number, email address, or password to use its basic features.
Firebase Authentication may automatically collect certain technical information required to provide and secure its services. Firebase documents that Authentication generates and stores a unique Firebase Authentication identifier.
2. Remote Wallpaper
The App provides a Remote Wallpaper feature that allows a wallpaper to be transferred between devices over the internet.
When you use Remote Wallpaper:
The photo you select is transmitted to Firebase for the purpose of transferring it to the receiving device.
The transfer data is temporarily stored on the server while the transfer is pending.
After the receiver processes the transfer, the pending transfer data is automatically removed from the Remote Wallpaper transfer location.
The received wallpaper is stored locally on the receiving device so that it can be used as a wallpaper.
Remote Wallpaper is optional. You can use the App's normal local wallpaper scheduling features without using Remote Wallpaper.
Firebase Realtime Database documentation states that when Firebase Authentication is used, authenticated database requests can include the applicable Firebase User ID.
The App may request the following permissions or system access:
Photos / Media Access – To allow you to choose wallpaper images.
Set Wallpaper – To change your device wallpaper.
Schedule Exact Alarm – To change wallpapers at scheduled times.
Receive Boot Completed – To restore wallpaper schedules after restarting your device.
Internet – Required for Remote Wallpaper and online services such as advertising and Firebase services.
Network State – Used to determine network availability.
The App only uses these permissions for the purposes described above.
The App uses Google AdMob to display advertisements, including banner/native/rewarded advertisements.
Google Mobile Ads SDK may automatically collect or share information such as:
Advertising ID / device identifiers
IP address
App interactions
Diagnostic information
Advertising-related information
The exact information collected may depend on the Google Mobile Ads SDK and its configuration. Google states that its Mobile Ads SDK may collect and share device identifiers, user interactions, diagnostic information and IP address for advertising, analytics and related purposes.

5. Firebase Services
The App uses Firebase services, including Firebase Authentication and Firebase Realtime Database, to provide Remote Wallpaper and related app functionality.
Firebase Authentication generates a unique User ID for an authenticated user. The App uses Firebase Anonymous Authentication, so users do not need to provide an email address or password to create an account.
Firebase may also automatically process certain technical information required to provide and secure its services. Firebase's documentation describes automatic collection such as IP address and user-agent information for certain Firebase services.

6. Crash Reporting – Firebase Crashlytics
We use Firebase Crashlytics, a service provided by Google Firebase, to detect, diagnose, and fix app crashes. When a crash occurs, Crashlytics may automatically collect crash reports, crash stack traces, crash-related application state, device information, operating system information, app version information, and a Crashlytics installation identifier. This information may also include technical information used to diagnose and analyze crashes. We use this information to troubleshoot technical problems and improve the stability and reliability of the app. We do not intentionally send names, email addresses, phone numbers, or user IDs to Crashlytics.
7. Data Storage and Retention
Local data
Wallpaper schedules, settings, and wallpapers used by local schedules are stored locally on your device.
Remote Wallpaper data
When you use Remote Wallpaper, the selected photo and required transfer information are temporarily transmitted to and stored in Firebase for the purpose of completing the transfer.
After the receiving device processes the pending transfer, the pending transfer data is automatically removed from the Remote Wallpaper transfer location.
The received wallpaper remains on the receiving device until the user removes or replaces it.
Firebase services may retain certain technical information according to their own policies and service requirements.
The App does not sell your personal information.
Information may be processed by service providers used by the App, including:
Google AdMob – for displaying and measuring advertisements.
Firebase – for authentication, Remote Wallpaper transfer, database functionality, and related services.
Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect and share certain device identifiers, app interactions, diagnostic information and other data for advertising and analytics purposes.

The App is not specifically directed toward children under the age of 13.
The App does not knowingly request children to provide personal information.
The App uses reasonable measures to protect information handled by the App and its service providers.
Data transmitted between the App and online services is transferred over secure connections. Firebase documents encryption in transit for its services, and Google Mobile Ads documentation also states that its collected data is encrypted in transit.
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time to reflect changes to the App, its features, or the services used by the App.
Any changes will be reflected by updating the Last Updated date at the top of this Privacy Policy.
