Camera Data: The App requires access to your device's camera to capture images of documents for scanning.
Local Storage/Photos: The App requests access to your device's local storage (files/photos) so that you can save your scanned documents, export PDFs, or import existing images to scan.
Document Data: The text and images you scan are processed to provide core functionality (like OCR and document text extraction).
Important Note on Data Storage:
All documents, scans, and user data are stored locally on your device. We do not maintain remote servers that store your scanned documents, personal text, or files.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information collected via the App for the following purposes:
To provide the core services: We use your camera and storage to allow you to scan, crop, filter, and save documents as PDFs or images.
AI Integration (if applicable): If you use the AI text extraction and cognitive summary features, the text from your documents may be sent securely to AI service providers (such as Google Gemini APIs) to generate summaries and extract text. This data is handled in accordance with the third-party API terms and is not used by us to identify you or build advertising profiles.
3. Will Your Information Be Shared With Anyone?
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your Personally Identifiable Information.
Because the app is primarily offline/local-first, your scanned data remains on your device. The only exception is when relying on third-party APIs (like Google's Gemini API) explicitly requested by you for AI features, where necessary text may be securely transmitted for processing.

Since your data is primarily stored locally on your device, the security of your documents relies heavily on the physical and digital security of your own device (e.g., using device passcodes or the App's built-in secure lock if configured).

The updated version will be indicated by an updated "Effective Date" and the updated version will be effective as soon as it is accessible.
