Find programs to help navigate or maximize the use of supported smart cards and smart card readers. These utility tools are offered free of charge. Tools can be used only with the supported operating systems, indicated respectively.

To decode event trace files, you can use Tracefmt (tracefmt.exe). Tracefmt is a command-line tool that formats and displays trace messages from an event trace log file (.etl) or a real-time trace session. Tracefmt can display the messages in the Command Prompt window or save them in a text file. It is located in the \tools\tracing subdirectory of the Windows Driver Kit (WDK). For more information, see Tracefmt.

The PKCS#11 URI scheme is used to consistently identify smart cards, tokens and objects on them in the system. They are used by most of the tools in RHEL 8+ and simplify configuration of applications for smart cards. More information about supported applications and uses of the URI can be found in separate blog post.

When working with applications using smart cards, it is often useful to know the URIs of the tokens or the objects stored in the token.

The identification URIs of registered PKCS#11 modules can be seen with the following command (this uses p11tool from gnutls-utils component).

The OpenSC implements support for most of the cards, but if you know that you will be using only one or two, it can be runtime configured in /etc/opensc.conf (on x86_64 architecture). In the section app default use the card_drivers option and set it to appropriate drivers you are interested in. You can list all the supported drivers using opensc-tool --list-drivers. For example to allow only CAC and PIV drivers, use the following configuration:

The OpenSC supports using pinpad readers, but some of the readers do not comply with the CCID specification so this functionality is turned off by default. You can enable pinpad on your reader by setting the enable_pinpad = true option in /etc/opensc.conf under the app default and reader_driver pcsc sections. If the pinpad needs pin of fixed length, it is possible to tweak it with the fixed_pinlength option.

pcsc_scan seems to come from pcsc-tools, but my CSB RHEL 8 cannot find that package. Is this a mistake, or is this in another repository (if so, which one?), or should we be referring to an opensc equivalent?

Thank you for the comment. The pcsc-tools package is unfortunately not in RHEL. In RHEL7, it was provided by EPEL, but the EPEL8 package was not yet built. I will take care of that. But note, that this step is not crucial for any of the instructions available in this page.

SMART support must be available and enabled on each storage device to effectively use these tools. You can use #smartctl to check for and enable SMART support. That done, you can manually #Run a test and #View test results, or you can use #smartd to automatically run tests and email notifications.

Forgot to note the stats of a creature before leveling up? This tool helps to retreive the values that matter for breeding. Now you can also save your extracted stats in a library, see which creature has the best stats and view the pedigree of your pets. Sort your library to see which creatures are the best for breeding and compare which stats are inherited to the offspring.

Maybe I don't get your question, but it doesn't matter from where the stats come. You can use it to store the stats of your dinos from the PC- and the Xbox-version. The tool itself is a windows application and does not run on Xbox.

Type in values of a wild creature to see on which stats it's emphasized. Green values on a high-level creature are very good for breeding. If you have already tamed your creature you can try to recover the breeding-stats with this offline-tool:

If you want to use the tool with your friends, place the save-file in a shared folder (e.g. google-drive or dropbox). Then you only have to be aware not to overwrite changes of your firends (and vice versa).

Yes, the stat-values of the creatures will be different, and so the tool needs to know what your new multipliers are. Set them in the settings (File -> Settings...) to match them to your server-settings.

It might be that there is a setting you have to do on the Smargo by running the settings tool you can download from www.argolis.com. There is no manual, so hard to say which parameter. But from the top of my head it might be that you have to set it to use the mouse protocol.

Sorry for the questions, but although I have OSCAM running under Ubuntu I'm actually a complete noob of what is happening in there (still to study, but on the other hand, it is running ... and where does one stop to understand). Knowing how much effort it took to get it up and running the first time (and thus the reason for my own little tutorials with all relevant steps and settings!) I would like to know all upfront before making the switch.

Once you click in your Word document to read or edit, the Immersive Reader ribbon will minimize. To make the ribbon visible so you can change Immersive Reader settings or close Immersive Reader, select the ... at the top of the screen.

SeaTools is a comprehensive, easy-to-use diagnostic tool that helps you quickly determine the condition of the disk drive in your external hard drive, desktop or laptop computer. It includes several tests that will examine the physical media on your Seagate or Maxtor disk drive and any other non-Seagate disk drive.

CrystalDiskInfo is my preferred SMART info tool now, simply because it's less hassle than downloading and installing smartmontools and is available as a portable application (so you can easily stick it on a USB drive or Dropbox). You can also configure it to actively monitor your drives and report any issues in a popup notification, as well as show each drive's temperature in a separate taskbar icon.

Immersive Reader in Microsoft Edge simplifies web page layouts, removes clutter, and helps you customize your reading experience in Windows 10 and Windows 11. There are also many amazing learning and accessibility tools within Microsoft Edge Immersive Reader that can help improve reading comprehension and enhance learning.

Entering Reader Mode in Immersive Reader will simplify the page you're on by hiding distracting pop-ups and buttons, leaving you with just the important parts: textual and visual content. Once you enter Reader Mode, start using tools like Read Aloud, Text preferences, Grammar tools and Reading preferences.

In Reading preferences, you can turn on tools like Line focus to focus on reading one, three or five lines at a time, Picture dictionary to see a visual representation of a word, or Translate to change the language of the text.

GSmartControl is a graphical user interface for smartctl (from smartmontools package), which is a tool for querying and controlling SMART (Self-Monitoring, Analysis, and Reporting Technology) data on modern hard disk and solid-state drives. It allows you to inspect the drive's SMART data to determine its health, as well as run various tests on it.

Frankly, lots of things. Bidding is one of the more tedious parts of the job. By letting the algorithms do their thing, you will have more time for things that matter even more and are more worthy of your attention. Spend that time getting a better understanding of how your client really makes money, applying that understanding to bigger strategies, taking efficiency savings and investing in expansions, landing page development, marketing tools.

The next step is to find your Export folder and setting it into the application. If you already know where your Ark folder is you can skip ahead to the next point. For those of you who don't know where your folders are, go on

\nv 1.0\n\nSupremeArk.com uses its own custom settings.

\nThis guide is meant to help breeders set up the 3rd party application "ARK Smart Breeding" according to the server's settings.\nPLEASE NOTE: I am only using the application to READ my dinosaur's statpoints. I am not familiar with the database and the other options this application offers. Please feel free to add to this guide.\n\nTable of Contents:\n\nDownloading & Installation\nSupremeArk's settings\nSettings in ARK Smart Breeding.exe\nUsing ARK Smart Breeding.exe\n\n\nDownloading & Installation\nGo to the official GitHub page here\nScroll down untill you see "Download the latest release."\n\nDownload the latest .zip file\n\nExtract the zip file with a program such as WinRAR or 7Zip.

\n(if you are not familiar with, or dont know what .zip files are please read here)\nOnce extracted to whatever folder of your choosing (I know most of you non-OCD people will just dump it on your desktop) you will find the application in the folder:

\n\nYou can now use the application.\n\nSupremeArk's settings\nFirst check one SupremeArk.com what the current server settings are. You can find these at the bottom of the PVP and PVE rules pages.\nIt'll look like this:\n\n\nSettings in ARK Smart Breeding.exe\nGo to your Smart Breeding application\nGo to file -> Settings -> Tab "Multipliers" and make sure all values are copied.\n\nPress "OK" to save the settings.

\nYou are now ready to start reading stats from the game.\n\nUsing ARK Smart Breeding.exe\nnote: your gameclient should be full-screen (not borderless fullscreen nor windowed!). It is known to not function properly if it is not\nIn order to read how many points are in a stat you can use the extractor tab from the application.

\n\nStep-by-step:\n\nIn game you open up the inventory of the dinosaur you want to read.\nAlt-Tab to your ARK Smart Breeding application\nSelect the correct species

\n\nClick on "Read Values"

\n\nThe application will open up your game client, and then close it again and show you your dinosaur's stats.

\n\n\nKeep in mind some stats could occur as red instead of green.

\nAlso imprinting can be an issue for this.\nThere is a very helpful Discord server in case you are constantly bumping into red numbers.
