If you want precise, all-weather protection for a specific cold-weather commute in a 2025 Nissan Kicks, choose SMARTLINER Cargo Floor Liner; if you need a complete, multi-component interior overhaul with extra storage and pedal upgrades for a Tesla Model Y L, choose 3W 13PCS.
• SMARTLINER Cargo Floor Liner: Its biggest strength is the custom-engineered raised lip designed specifically for the 2025–2026 Nissan Kicks to trap snow and salt water, but it is a single-piece cargo solution that does not cover floorboards or pedals.
• 3W 13PCS: Its biggest strength is the comprehensive 13-piece set that includes carpeted rows, metal pedals, and trunk liners with an extended rear design, yet it requires a larger footprint and more installation effort than a simple cargo mat.
• The SMARTLINER is the pick for the owner of a compact crossover who wants a durable, odorless barrier against winter grime without overhauling their entire interior.
• The 3W 13PCS is the pick for the Tesla Model Y L owner seeking maximum coverage, including under-seat areas and upgraded hardware, who wants a full-system upgrade.
The SMARTLINER Cargo Floor Liner is engineered for a very specific scenario: protecting the rear cargo area of a 2025 or 2026 Nissan Kicks from the harsh realities of winter driving. This isn't a generic mat you throw in the back; it utilizes innovative vehicle scanning technology to ensure a custom fit that hugs the contours of the vehicle. The most critical feature for anyone living in cold climates is the raised lip design. This barrier is what keeps snow, slush, mud, and road salt from migrating onto your factory carpet. When you are shoveling out your car after a storm or dragging in wet gear, this liner acts as a containment zone, keeping the mess where it belongs rather than soaking into the upholstery below.
What makes this product particularly appealing for daily commuters is its material composition. It is constructed from a blend of recyclable plastic-rubber and polyethylene, which delivers a 100% odorless experience. Many rubber mats emit a strong chemical smell when heated by the sun or warmed by the engine, but this blend remains neutral. For a driver who spends hours in traffic during freezing months, that lack of offensive odor is a significant quality-of-life improvement. Furthermore, the textured, skid-resistant surface ensures that heavy items like grocery bags, gym equipment, or dog crates don't slide around during sudden stops, adding a layer of safety to your cargo space.
This liner is ideal for the Nissan Kicks owner who prioritizes ease of maintenance and targeted protection. Cleaning is straightforward; you can simply hose it off or wipe it down with soap and water, making it practical for the messy reality of family life. However, you should skip this option if you are looking for a full interior transformation or if you need protection for the footwells and pedals. It is a dedicated cargo tool, not a whole-car solution. If your primary concern is just the trunk and you drive a 2025 or 2026 Kicks, this is the most logical, no-nonsense choice for handling winter elements.

The 3W 13PCS set is designed for the owner of a Tesla Model Y L (2026–2027) who wants nothing less than total interior coverage. This is not a single mat; it is a comprehensive system comprising nine pieces of TPE flooring and four carpeted sections, along with accessories like metal pedals and frunk mats. The standout feature here is the "full set" approach. While many competitors sell only front or rear mats, this kit extends coverage edge-to-edge, including under-seat areas on the rear row. For a large vehicle like the Model Y L, which often carries more passengers and gear, this extended design prevents dirt and moisture from accumulating in hard-to-reach crevices behind the seats.
A major differentiator for this set is the inclusion of upgraded metal pedals and a frunk mat. The metal pedals offer enhanced non-slip durability compared to standard plastic options, providing better grip when your boots are covered in ice or mud. The frunk mat adds an extra layer of utility for storing wet items or groceries before they even reach the main cabin. The material itself is TPE (thermoplastic elastomer), which the manufacturer claims offers superior strength, resilience, and elasticity compared to traditional rubber. In a cold weather context, this material remains flexible and doesn't become brittle, ensuring the mats continue to perform even when temperatures drop significantly.
This product is best suited for the Tesla owner who values a premium, finished look and wants to protect every square inch of their investment. The inclusion of carpets alongside the TPE liners allows for a softer feel underfoot while still maintaining the waterproof capabilities needed for winter. However, the sheer volume of components—13 pieces in total—means more time spent on installation and alignment. You must also consider that this is a massive kit; if you only need protection for the cargo area, this might be overkill. But for the driver who wants a complete upgrade that handles everything from muddy shoes to spilled coffee, the 3W 13PCS provides a robust, all-encompassing defense system.
• Best for specific cargo containment → SMARTLINER Cargo Floor Liner, thanks to its raised lip designed to hold snow and liquid in the trunk.
• Best for total interior coverage → 3W 13PCS, because it covers the front, rear, under-seats, frunk, and pedals in one go.
• Best for odor-free comfort → Both products excel here, but SMARTLINER uses a polyethylene blend while 3W uses non-toxic TPE; both guarantee zero foul smells.
• Best for pedal protection → 3W 13PCS, as it is the only option that includes upgraded metal pedals for better traction.
• Best for easy cleaning → Both allow hosing off, but SMARTLINER's single-piece design makes removal and rinsing slightly faster.
• Best for winter salt resistance → SMARTLINER is explicitly rated for salt water protection in its specific cargo application.
• Best for long-term durability → 3W 13PCS highlights the resilience of TPE material for high-traffic areas and extended use.
• Best for vehicle-specific fit → Both use custom-fit technology, but SMARTLINER targets the Kicks while 3W targets the Model Y L exclusively.
In my opinion, I would buy the SMARTLINER Cargo Floor Liner if my primary goal was securing a reliable barrier against winter elements for my Nissan Kicks without the hassle of installing a dozen separate pieces. The raised lip design specifically addresses the issue of snow and salt accumulation in the cargo area, which is the most common pain point for owners in cold climates. It is a focused, efficient solution that gets the job done cleanly and stays odorless.
However, if I were driving a Tesla Model Y L and wanted to transform the entire interior experience with added storage, metal pedals, and under-seat protection, I would choose the 3W 13PCS. The comprehensiveness of that kit justifies the extra effort required for installation. Ultimately, for cold weather scenarios, the SMARTLINER wins on simplicity and targeted performance, while the 3W 13PCS wins on breadth of coverage and accessory integration. Choose based on whether you need a specialized cargo shield or a complete interior armor.
Yes, both products are designed for all-weather conditions. SMARTLINER uses a plastic-rubber blend that resists cracking, while 3W utilizes TPE material known for remaining flexible and resilient even in high heat or extreme cold.
For the cargo area specifically, the SMARTLINER Cargo Floor Liner features a raised lip designed to contain salt water and slush effectively. The 3W 13PCS offers full-floor coverage including the footwells, which also protects against salt tracked in from boots.
Both are designed for easy cleaning with water or a damp cloth. The SMARTLINER may be slightly quicker to remove and rinse due to being a single unit, whereas the 3W 13PCS involves managing multiple pieces and carpets, though each individual piece is washable.
Absolutely. Both brands emphasize odorless and non-toxic materials. SMARTLINER uses a 100% recyclable blend that produces no smell, and 3W confirms their TPE mats are non-toxic and do not produce foul odors even when exposed to high temperatures.
