About Us

GPH Library – Smart Library Management System

We are students of Diploma in Information Technology from Government Polytechnic Hamirpur. This project, “GPH Library – Smart Library Management System”, was developed as our final year project with the aim of transforming the traditional manual library system into a smart digital platform.

The project is designed to simplify and automate library operations such as:

• student and teacher management

• book issuing and returning

• renewal system

• fine calculation

• question paper management

• OTP authentication

• approval workflows

• notification system

The system provides separate portals for Students, Teachers, and Admin/Librarian with modern responsive UI and secure authentication features.

This project was developed using:

• Bootstrap

with the goal of improving efficiency, security, and accessibility in library management.
