Smart Sensor Devices (“we,” “our,” or “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how the HibouAir SmartHub app (“the App”) collects, uses, and protects information.
The App does not collect, store, or transmit any personally identifiable information.
The only data accessed by the App is:
Bluetooth device information (such as device name, ID, and signal strength) — used solely to connect and communicate with your HibouAir SmartHub device.
Configuration settings (e.g., selected sensor ID, CO₂ and temperature thresholds) — stored locally on your device.
The collected data is used only for:
Establishing and maintaining a Bluetooth connection with your HibouAir SmartHub.
Monitoring air quality data from the connected device.
Allowing you to configure sensor thresholds.
We do not send this data to our servers or share it with third parties.
All configuration data is stored locally on the HibouAir SmartHub device.
No cloud storage or remote databases are used by the App.
The App requires the following permissions:
Bluetooth — to connect to and communicate with your HibouAir SmartHub.
Location (in some cases) — required by certain operating systems to enable Bluetooth scanning, even though we do not store your location.
The App does not integrate or share data with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the App and accompanied by an updated “Effective Date.”
