Smart Monthly Budget Planner is a Local-First application. We do not collect, store, or transmit any of your financial or personal information to external servers. All data entry, including transactions, income, and settings, remains strictly on your device.
The information you enter into the App is stored locally using your browser's LocalStorage and Web SQL/IndexedDB capabilities. This data is password-protected only by your device's native security features. Please note that clearing your browser cache or app data may result in the loss of your saved transactions.
The App provides a feature to upload a profile photo for personalization. When you upload an image, it is processed entirely on your device and saved as a compressed string in LocalStorage. This image never leaves your device and is not shared with any third parties.
To function as intended, the App may request access to your device's storage (to save image preferences) or gallery (to pick a profile photo). These permissions are used exclusively for personalizing your local experience.
We do not use third-party analytics, advertising networks, or tracking tools that harvest user data. The App is built using open-source technologies (HTML, CSS, JS, Capacitor) designed for a private user experience.
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document.
