Smart Lunch Box is designed to work mainly with locally stored app data.

Information We May Use

• Google account sign-in information, such as basic profile or email, if the user chooses Google login.

• App preferences such as selected language, theme, reminder settings and guest mode.

• Locally saved app data such as favorite recipes, meal planner entries, shopping list items and reminder choices.

Smart Lunch Box does not collect or store sensitive payment details, UPI PINs, bank account details or payment credentials.

How We Use Information

We use information only to provide app features, including login, preferences, recipes, meal planning, favorites, shopping lists, notifications and app usability.

Local Storage

Recipe data, favorites, meal plans, shopping list items and settings may be stored locally on the user’s device. This data is not sold or shared with third parties.

Firebase and Google Sign-In

Smart Lunch Box may use Firebase Authentication for Google login. Authentication is handled by Google/Firebase. Smart Lunch Box does not collect the user’s Google password.

Notifications

Smart Lunch Box may request notification permission to send meal reminders. Users can disable reminders from app settings or device settings.

Voluntary Contributions

The Support Developer page allows completely optional contributions. Contributions do not unlock premium content, rewards, features, badges, ad removal or digital benefits.

Payments are processed directly through the selected UPI application. Smart Lunch Box does not collect or store UPI PINs, bank details or payment credentials.

Children’s Privacy

Smart Lunch Box does not knowingly collect personal information from children. If the app is used by children, payment or support-related pages should be accessed only by parents or grown-ups.

Data Sharing

Smart Lunch Box does not sell user data. We do not share personal data with third parties except when required for basic app services such as Firebase Authentication or legal compliance.

User Choices

Users can use the app as guest, disable notifications, clear app data from Android settings, or uninstall the app to remove locally stored data.

No Medical Advice

Smart Lunch Box does not provide medical, dietary or professional health advice. For health conditions, allergies, pregnancy, diabetes, weight loss or special diets, users should consult a qualified professional.

Google Login

Users may sign in using Google authentication or continue as guest. Smart Lunch Box does not collect or store Google account passwords.

Notifications

The app may send reminders only when enabled by the user. Users can disable notifications from app settings or device settings.

Account and Data Deletion

Smart Lunch Box users can request deletion of their account-related data by contacting us at:

Please send the request from the same email address used for Google sign-in. We will delete account-related data associated with Smart Lunch Box where applicable.

Most recipe, planner, shopping list and favorite data is stored locally on the user's device. Users can remove this local data by clearing app data or uninstalling the app.
