Surya Mani IT Solutions ("we," "our," or "us") operates the Smart Kids mobile application (the "App"). This App is designed as an educational tool for children to learn capital letters, small letters, colours, and Hindi alphabets.

Because our App is intended for children under the age of 13 ("Kids"), we are committed to protecting their privacy and ensuring a safe, secure, and fully compliant digital environment. This Privacy Policy outlines how we handle information in accordance with Google Play's Families Policy and global child privacy regulations (including COPPA).

1. Information Collection and Use

The App is designed to run locally on your device using built-in assets. We do not request, require, or knowingly collect any personally identifiable information (PII) from children, such as names, addresses, emails, telephone numbers, or precise locations.

Automated Data Collection (Analytics)

To help us maintain, understand, and improve the performance of our App, we utilize third-party developer tools provided by Google:

• Firebase Analytics: We use Firebase to track non-personal aggregated technical data such as Daily Active Users (DAU), device types, operating system versions, app crashes, and feature engagement. This data is strictly used for analytical and internal performance evaluation purposes. It does not contain any personal identifiers or tracking data that can pinpoint an individual child.

2. App Update Notification Feature

The App includes an automated system update check feature configured via Android Studio.

• How it works: When a new official version of the Smart Kids App becomes available on the Google Play Store, the App may check for updates and notify the user via a standard in-app notification dialogue.

• Data Handling: This feature only queries the current version code of the installed App against the latest version hosted on Google Play. No personal user data or device history is transmitted or tracked during this process.

3. Children's Privacy Compliance (COPPA & Google Play Families Policy)

We comply strictly with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and Google Play Developer Policies concerning child-directed content.

• No Social Login: The App does not feature any social media integration or account creation mandates that could compromise a child's identity.

• No Behavioural Ads: The App does not contain personalized behavioural advertising or interest-based tracking.

• No Data Sharing: We do not share, sell, or rent any personal information or analytical identifiers to third parties.

4. Permissions Required by the App

To function correctly, the App may require the following basic device permissions, which are strictly technical and non-invasive:

• Internet Access / Network State: Required exclusively to allow Firebase to log aggregated app performance statistics and to fetch verification checks for available App Updates.

5. Data Security

We care deeply about safeguarding the digital space for our young users. Although the App does not collect personal identifiers, any aggregated analytical logs processed via Firebase are stored securely on Google's infrastructure using industry-standard security protocols.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time to align with changing developer guidelines or legal regulations. We advise you to review this page periodically for any modifications. Any updates become effective immediately upon being published at our official privacy link.
